Read moreSeemed like a nice authentic place to eat. Waiters barely spoke English which is fine with me and makes it feel even more 'real' The inside was dimly lit and had a live band with customers dancing and clearly having a good time. We ate outside because the weather was fantastic. Pretty sure we were the only Americans in the place and the staff seemed irritated that we were there. The sangria was nothing special and if anything it almost seemed old. My wife ordered paella and having been to Spain many times I can tell you it was FAR from authentic. In fact it was on par with a box meal from the local food lion. I wasn't feeling like seafood so I went with the chicken cordon bleu. As you can see in the picture they simple tried to dress up a frozen meal that was deep fried. It really was not good then I noticed that towards the middle the chicken was not cooked. When I brought it up to the wait staff they argued with me. They finally just took it away. No apology no offer for a replacement no offer for something else nothing. From the time me wife finished her food it took almost 30 minutes before anyone came to check on us. So we just asked for the check and started waiting. 10 minutes later nothing. So I went in the restaurant and told the manager we wanted our check. He looked like I was bothering him but managed to get us what we wanted. They not only left the uncooked food on the Bill but they also charged is for an extra drink. We were so irritated by this point we just paid the Bill and left. Bottom line, we had high hopes for this place and it seemed like it was going to be great but disappointed...
Read moreMade reservations to celebrate a family’s member birthday, told there was live music and paella so it was a no brainer. Reviews were great to back it up.
Walked in and it has nothing authentic of Spain. Tacky with alligator print tables, dark, awkward layout. Few true authentic dishes on the menu and also limited menu; paella is served with maduros to show how authentic it is.
Owner took the whole back section and had 15+ family members/friends who were already a few drinks in, with the owner sitting in his chef’s jacket yapping it up and enjoying drinks. Then came the ‘live music.’ It was just a bunch of the owner’s entourage doing karaoke, yelling to play a particular song next, dancing literally right next to every table, and shoving a microphone into everyone’s face while they ate (our table included).
Finished our apps, left the bottle of wine, and asked for the check. Waitress apologized, gave a little push back about removing the paella from the check which still had not been served, nothing comped. $100 for two apps, a bottle of wine, and a terrible experience. Would never return. You’ll easily break $300 before tax and tip for three people; much better restaurants out there for that...
