I recently visited "The Smoothie Spot" and had an incredible experience. This place is a hidden gem! I ordered the vegan wrap and an Açaí Paradise smoothie, and let me tell you, all the options here are incredibly delicious.

The vegan wrap was a flavor explosion! Packed with fresh vegetables, plant-based protein, and a delightful sauce, it was a delightful combination of textures and tastes. As a vegan, finding tasty and satisfying options can sometimes be a challenge, but "The Smoothie Spot" definitely delivered.

The food is good, which is why I gave 3 stars. However, their service is awful. When I dine-in, I’ll arrive and make the line. When it is my turn, I order an avocado toast to which they say that they’ll start preparing it now and to go pay at the cashier. They then proceed to take everyone’s orders behind me (which are usually bowls that they make on the spot - same style as Chipotle) BEFORE they even START making my avocado toast. This happens EVERY SINGLE TIME. Once I even counted and they took TEN people’s orders who came AFTER me before starting my order. I end up waiting 30 minutes for a toast. I tried to outsmart the system and started ordering ahead to be ready by a certain time but that’s useless because they don’t start making my food til I arrive… so what’s the point of ordering for a certain time? For example, I placed an order at 11:15 to be ready at 11:30. I arrived at 11:37 to give them some wiggle room. They were completely empty and hadn’t even started my order. I ordered 3 açaí smoothie bowls, and they tasted rotten. We informed the crew about the issue, but the cashier immediately told us there would be no refund. She didn’t even ask what the problem was, instead, she told us they had eaten the bowls earlier and denied there was anything wrong with the taste. Another employee then suggested that I should taste something before buying it. We barely touched the food. They Didnt offer a discount nor exanging the product for something else. The cashier just gave us attitude acting mad and annoyed even when we were being calm and respectful.

The cashier called the owner or manager on WhatsApp, she told us that they will refund but never apologized. The manager asked what the issue was but then just explained the process of making the açaí still treating us like of we were lying. They asked if I had ever tried an açaí bowl elsewhere, and I told them multiple times that I had eaten here just a week ago. Apparently, they believe their products are supposed to taste rotten.
