I will give this dealer 1 star on new Corvette Z06 purchase. To get MSRP I was compelled to purchase $500 window tinting which is done offsite by a 3rd party who tries to sell you protective film - $250 each window,$500 wheel locks (which they would not remove since already installed - $125 per wheel lock.. Imagine?!?) and a $995 Permaplate appearance protection. This is on top of the $199 electronic filling, $500 registration and $995 dealer fees - When I went on their website to purchase one of the Z06 online the fees were less. Initially the car was listed on Autotrader at MSRP and then when I called I received the classic "bait and switch" low and behold atleast $10,000 over MSRP. Is this legal in Florida? Finally after many weeks of back and forth the dealer finally offered MSRP albeit with having to purchase overpriced junk additions. The appearance protection package which seems to be some sort of wax did not protect against tree sap etching, somehow I'm supposed to call a number and someone will show up to attempt to fix, they added 3 year appearance protection plan - later I find there is 7-year option, which they never offered or informed, I learned about it when I called Permaplate. Also appears car has fine scratches from dealer applying the Permaplate or from washing it. The leather on the driver side seat is also crumpled and I tried to condition it but still looks bad. The z06 is supposed to ship with low and high spoiler extensions,I received the car only with the high ones installed. As usual the worse part of buying a Corvette is the customer service and dealership experience. My opinion, Corvette does not belong with a Chevrolet dealership it should be separated out to a dedicated brand. This is my second new Corvette purchase (first was from Coggin in Jacksonville Florida in 2016) and same horrible service exists. I called GM to try and get my questions answered about what parts ship with a new z06, they could not answer and referred me back to the purchase dealer where I left a voice message with AutoNation service manager - never to be returned. It took atleast 3 times to sign paperwork with this dealer for the car purchase, it took atleast 3 times for the dealer to provide correct bank wire information, I never received my computer signed paperwork in the mail - I had to ask for it and received email with terrible picture quality. This dealer also has you sign arbitration agreement to forego your jury trial rights, totally unamerican... Why hide behind an arbitrator? This dealer had a total of 3 yellow z06 at the time of negotiation and purchase, one of which was z07 which I favored. They agreed to sell me one of the non-z07 package z06 then AFTER I purchased it, they informed the z07 is now available for sale at MSRP and asked if I had any friends that wanted to buy. Really?! I did not fill out the Chevrolet new vehicle customer survey as I did not want to impact my sales rep livelihood, he kept asking to give 5 stars - couldn't do it, so decided not to fill it out at all. Sales rep told me each time during negotiation he had to follow the manager, he has no authority. Writing on Google instead to let others know of my experience. The only reason they get 1 star is they courtesy shipped the car from Miami to Jacksonville AutoNation and had in stock the color of the z06 I was searching for. I asked for the name of the shipper to tip him for transporting my car, they would not give it... Claimed they don't know - wow how can you not know the name of the person who ships a brand new customer car? Finance manager does not respond, many times I tried to call for GM extended warranty which they never offered at time of purchase, finally he called me back and offered an overpriced extended warranty. After calling around to other Chevrolet dealers I was able to find at half the price. My observation - This dealer will do anything to over charge the customer at the expense of the service. AutoNation you got my money and now I will charge you this bad review for...
Read moreI left my car for a warranty check up since there were several problems on the car, I stayed without a car, I specifically told them that I needed a car or some sort of accommodation for me to go to work, they told me they don't have any available cars for the moment, I asked if they work with third party rental car companies, they said that they don't, and that it all depends on the diagnostic, I asked them how long is it going to take, they said probably 1 day, I called the next day, nothing, no diagnostic, I gently asked about my situation for me to go to work, they said they didnt have any cars. I had to pay out of pocket transportation via uber for me to go to work, which I think is very unfair since I am supposed to have a car. I had to be behind them everyday. I stated that my vehicle has a weird noise. representative stated that my car has a lot of rust and that the noise was coming from the rotors since that's because of regular use, is not covered for warranty which will result of me paying out of pocket, I only used my car to commute to work and do my daily necessities, why such a new car would have a lot of rust I asked?, they said well because of you going driving through salty waters and etc. but how a lot of rust could grow on such a brand new car? it was insanely weird for me that they stated that and wanted me to charge me over $500+ to repair that. I checked with another opinion and said the car doesn't have rust and what they said is a lie, so basically they were trying to scam me, Besides the noise still appears and is not coming from the rotors at all. Days before the power steering light came up on my dash. when repairing on the report shows WARRANTY NOT POSTED, when I asked what was that, representative stated that the re programming they did is not covered by the warranty and that they will have to charge me, but since when I left the car I didnt sign anything, then they couldn't charge me and he stated they did this "as a favor to help me" which I doubt. I have been feeling that the car is eventually loosing power by little, specially when you try to accelerated, I told them I had this car since new, drove it from Texas to Florida, and it was perfectly fine, he stated " all Chevy's trax drive like that so I don't know what to tell you", what kind of response is that? I said ok then why don't you write down on the report that the car is driving like all the other chevy trax's instead of saying is driving up to expectations, he said that no because that could harm him later on. My resolution on all this, I will take my car for a second opinion and check up in another Chevrolet or Auto Nation location, and that the experience on the Doral Location is the worst I ever had, I like my car, and I enjoy having my car, and I think I made a good choice, I understand things happen and it could be way beyond your force to solve them, but because of situations like this, it made me doubt if I made the right choice, I think is insane that they take all this long to diagnose the car and also give you all the responses that at the end of the day it only shows that they don't care about you, your situation, and you are just a number for them, and also the fact that I stayed without a car for several days with no response?, no solution?, I'm sorry but they should always try to help you and give you a solution so you can accommodate to this difficult situations, and this experience did not meet any of the standards expectations of how this procedure should had to be done. So I dare to say, worst...
Read moreThis is worst dealership I have been to in my life. Service department was no better. The Service Manger Mr. Silvera, there are no words. I bought my Silverado 2023 July. Great truck, until we left and got home, and the window tint was coming off, all the USB and USBC's did not work except 1 in the back, there was a knocking noise under the truck and the seat warmer lights were not working. Mr. Silvera was contacted to to get the parts etc. and we know the issues with Chevy parts and not getting them when needed based on what I was told by dealership, Chevy does not just keep some parts stocked in a warehouse. They have to be made. So from July 2023 to March 2024 I had to contact GM and Chevy to get in contact with Mr. Silvera. Every single time! Only once I got him. You can leave as many voicemails as possible. He would never return my call unless they contacted him. He was always respectable but very ineffective at helping. He got the part and never contacted me. GM contacted me to let me know he had the part and said he was supposed to contact me. I did not see the message until 2 months after it was sent and the man still had not contacted me. I told GM he did not contact me so they said he will be contacting me soon. Of course he did not. I contacted him to set up an appointment to fix the vehicle. I also informed him that the seat warmer lights were not workinig as well. I drive up to service, no one came out to help. No surprise, the racism here was felt from beginning. Not one soul came. I came out and went to a service advisor and they looked at me like I had two heads. When I asked for Mr. Silvera is when everyone started to help. Go figures. I was 30 minutes late and emailed Mr. Silvera and told him before I arrived. No response. I went in his office to wait and there was another disgruntled customer waiting to speak with him. He never showed up. She said she was tired of you all. It is just that she can't do better. She said she has not been to get in contact with him. A Jamaican guy came in a helped. He said Mr. Silvera told him I was coming. He brought me a to service advisor and she helped. To bad she was there before but never helped until he brought me over, and she was at the front. They said they fixed the USB but the seat warmers lights they have to change the entire display. I was so angry. So I must drive 1 1/2 hours again? During this time I never saw Mr. Silvera. When they brought the vehicle to me, I tried to get some explanation of what really was the issue with the seat warmer. There was a new service advisor. A young guy, and because I started asking for clarification, he was rude. Eg. "I am not the mechanic mam I would not know". Needless to say I brought my truck to the Autonation Chevy in West Palm. They fixed the seat warmer lights by changing a fuse. I was dumbfounded. I told the service advisor that Doral told me the display would need to be changed. The man looked at as if I was crazy. He said, "display, for that"?" Doral was going to change entire display. Seems incompetient to me. This truck has given so many issues, but by bringing to Maroone Chevy and Autonation Chevy in West Palm Beach, that is how everything got fixed. Only one thing Doral fixed and barely fixed it properly. I would never, ever, ever recommend you all. And Mr. Silvera, please do not...
