Ever since I was a child, I had been a very picky eater. Aways a little bit of this and a little bit of that. This is why my mouth would salivate and my mind would wonder in such delight anytime my family would pick Eat'n Park as our place to eat for the evening. Eat'n Park was the place for smiles, at least in my mind it was, look at all they had to choose from everything from banana Fosters for breakfast to my favorite pot roast sandwich w/ brown gravy over all of it, and for my one side, of course french fries also in that wonderful brown stuff called gravy. And you can't go without one of there wonderful signature milkshakes. After having a meal like this makes me want to go home sit on the couch and shove off and bless. So if and wanting to know if Eat'n Park is the right place for you? Well then my answer would be yes I would eat their 7 nights a week for the rest of my life now I understand everybody needs something different when they go out for dinner. I have eaten everything on their menu and I must say there's not one thing that is not cooked to perfection and then there's always the salad bar with your choice of three soups. I enjoy broccoli and cheese soup over all others, not that not other soups can't contend in this fight. It's just you can't contend with cheese. On other occasions I will get their chili which is also fantastic. If you're thinking of breakfast lunch or dinner and can't make up your mind just think of one of your favorite dishes your mother used to make in that kitchen where the magic happens I can almost guarantee you that Eat'n Park has it on their menu. So if you have kids gather them up put him in the car and drive yourself to an Eat'n Park if you don't have children that's fine too either way you will enjoy your meal. That's my recommendation. Eat'n Park is a place for smiles...
Read moreUsually never a problem at this location. However tonight my husband , myself and our 2 y/o son stoped in. Followed the directions of the sign at the front , 2 times the possible hostess or other team member walked out from the register which is staring directly at the entrance. She went to a table at the front window where a family and 1 other employee was crouched at their table - I’ll assume she was off duty , cool. Observed the person from the front desk throw something down on a table or register, face seemed she didn’t want to work tonight - been there, I get it. But a 2nd time she walked right past us and back to the kitchen never to return …. never worked food service so I’m overly empathetic to anyone who has , w/ tipping very well, even after poor service. My husband has worked food & bar, and knows what to look for , in bad patrons & workers. Had to leave …. Jetted down to the banksville location, night & day difference! Sorry for whoever made that woman’s night hell. Tell her we...
Read morePretty standard. I have noticed a decline over the past 2 years or so. The best service is received by the host seating you, after that you're pretty much on your own. The buffet/salad bar is usually lacking and they often just pile refills on top rather than rotate what is in the containers. I told a manager about this previously as almost everything on the saladbar was wilted, rotten or empty. We happened to be sitting next to the kitchen door and heard her go back and start speaking negatively about us including a few slurs. She walked back to the kitchen with the slimy eggs, then walked right back out with the same ones and put them back. I ate 2 bites and then told her about the issues, did not eat another bite as my appetite was now non existent and she refused to adjust the check. Maybe it's the fact that I'm not a teenager anymore but this place has lost it's spark. I have gotten better sandwiches from McDonald's and better salads from Wendys. There were no smiles at...
