KT's Tavern — Restaurant in Dothan

This bar is a really cool place to go with great food and I have heard great things about it but we went on a Thursday night for my birthday (their facebook says they close at 2am). at 11:58pm the bartender (blonde, kinda curly hair) told us "we are trying to close if yall are done." (there was still a few others there) so we went ahead and closed out the tab and we were going to leave even though we had got there about 945pm. They threw away the whole 20 oz bottle of coke we ordered that had like 3 sips out of it. I asked for that to be taken off the tab and she rolled her eyes and said no.... that they closed at 12. I brought up that their Facebook page says they close at 2am... she didn't try to refund anything or apologize or fix anything the slightest bit. She honestly seemed aggravated from the time we got there. I really hope next time is a better experience, if...

It was a cool spot. I sat out back for a bit and didn't realize that I was responsible for going to the bar to place my order.

And then all of the food came out at completely different times so a cpl of oir party was finished eating for a good while before other's even got there food.

And for the last person to have gotten his food, we werw all finished and just sitting and talking.

So from that perspective, "Service" get the lowest mark.

This place is a little adventure. The inside is small, I’m not the crowd type but the back sitting area outside is fantastic if you don’t like crowds. They have games, great music and the drinks are awesome. If don’t know what to choose tell them to surprise you, you’ll be surprised. I love the atmosphere it’s like being back home in the back yard with that one friend that thinks they can sing hollering like a cayote, you know who it is. The prices great for cheap night of fun.
