As somewhat amateur food critic I am always looking for the next new different local fine as I travel the southeast. On this occasion I found a wonderfully unique Pizzeria reminiscent of say your 70s places like Shakey's and ABC it had a quality about it I don't know what it was but the crust is slightly crispy on the bottom and it gets softer as it comes up the toppings are layered in a way that you really don't need a large pizza two of us rather big appetites ate half of it to slice of a piece and we were more than satisfied with that. Let me describe the topping they were so many but I would say that they're an average topping what is a little more unique is it actually have Canadian bacon which is something again reminiscent of the seventies and eighties pizza places and rarely seen today it wasn't what you call a traditional Italian fare there was no prosciutto there's no roasted tomatoes there was no spinach arugula feta, this is a purely Americana Pizza from the 70s and 80s it is absolutely wonderful it has a uniqueness of specially now that nobody hardly make them this way it wasn't a thick crust like what you might find in Detroit or Sicily it wasn't a deep dislike you may find in Chicago it wasn't the thin crust you find a New York New Jersey and of course upper portions of Italy it was not a pan I told him to take it to hand-tossed it looks to me like a rolled Christ and honestly it's the texture of it it's quite pleasing it's crackery it's also chewy it's supports the weight of the pizza well it is absolutely worth the trip I myself have another five or six weeks in this town this year and I am definitely going to go again I...
Read moreI’ll let the pics speak for themselves. Food is disgusting, customer service is even worse. The unprofessionalism is unbelievable. They never apologized to me for my burnt food or inconvenience. They never refunded me although they LIED and said they have video footage of me denying the refund. I actually disputed the charge with my bank after how poorly they handled the situation. I’d love them to post that footage because it never happened. They must’ve had me confused with another dissatisfied customer. The owner never spoke to me in person. They only offered suggestions of what I should’ve done instead when I had any communication with them online. They made so many false accusations and tried to ruin my character on social media. They continued to say I ordered my pizza “crispy” or BURNT. That was not true. This was my first time ever dining at their establishment and I had no idea I had to ask for “NOT BURNT PIZZA.” They say all of their customers like it that way. They went as far as making a fb post about discounting the pizza I ordered and naming the promo after me to “apologize”. They never apologized from the start they actually blocked me. They mocked me because they didn’t provide quality food or customer service. An employee admitted in the post they were being petty naming the discounted crust promotion after me. I honestly cannot believe how unprofessional and disgusting the actions and behavior was from...
Read moreI hate complaining but my experience was pretty bad. The service was really short with me. All I asked is where could I find their menu online and she kept saying “online, look for it”. I asked where that it wasn’t on Google and they didn’t have a website. I told them it was the first time I have ever ordered or eaten there and that’s why I didn’t know. I ordered a large pepperoni pizza and small pasta. After waiting in my car for 40 mins for my order to be ready, I paid $25, she handed me only a medium pizza box. I asked for my pasta. That’s when she told me she forgot to inform me they were out of Alfredo. I had to ask to be refunded for the pasta. Why I was charged to begin with not to mention why they didn’t call me when they realized, Idk. But never have I seen such a pathetic looking pizza. No sauce, cardboard thin, and hard as a rock. Half of the pizza was only crust on top. It was cold, small, barely any pepperoni or cheese. Awful. I could have gotten better pizza in minutes at Little Caesars for $6. I didn’t ask for them to remake nor a refund. I try to give local businesses business and hate complaining but they need to do better,...
