First time here. Seated quickly, dirty table. I stopped a waitress to wipe off our table. Utensils looked as though they hadn’t been washed. Waiter arrived in 5 minutes took orders and replaced silverware which still looked like they needed another hot water rinse. Drinks came quick. Appetizers were timely. Then we all received our soup, soup was good, however my daughter was waiting on her salad. It was a little inconvenient to have to stand up to get the waiters attention while he sat off in a corner or talking at the bar. We were understanding thinking his feet were tired but we seemed to have to do this as we noticed he didn’t come around as often as most of the staff did. He put her salad in as an entree but quickly went to go get it after we expressed our concerns that she was the only one not eating. The staff brought around refills without us having to ask but we did have to ask that empty plates and empty glasses be removed from the table long after we finished our appetizers. Food took a while. It was 4 of us so we understood the wait. Grilled pork chops were good, grilled chicken atop salad and fettuccine were also good, the sauce for the fried mezzaluna missed the mark for me. Caesar salad was good. Lasagna was clearly not fresh and very condensed together, chicken parm had a very unpleasant taste. Batter was unseasoned and a little burnt so the cheese and marinara on top didn’t help it any. Fettuccine noodles were just ok. Zucchini fritte was pretty good and mozzarella marinara was ok. Raspberry lemonade and sweet tea were refreshing, not too much sugar. Alcoholic beverage has a good balance as well. Still tipped the waiter fair gratuity although his service needs improvement. Nice guy, maybe he was in rare form tonight. I’m not a picky eater so if I say it’s not good, it’s not good. No to go box for me. Highly doubt we’ll...
Read moreMy husband and l had been to Carrabba's in Kennesaw Georgia and the experience didn't go well at all, so l never wrote a review at that time. Recently we visited the Carrabba's in Douglasville Georgia and l to share my opinion. When we entered the restaurant, we're greeted with a young lady smiling that seated us. Our server came over and introduced herself to us, again with a smile. We placed our order and l continued to watch the lady standing where the food was coming out of the kitchen. I knew that she was the manager and that it was one of her jobs to look over the food before it was served. I was drawn to watching her multi task with such extreme ease. She was constantly noticing everything going on around her and also monitoring the food. If a napkin fell on the floor 5 feet away from her she spotted it and picked it up. She would go in the kitchen and out, answer questions with the servers, and as soon as a plate of food came out, she was right there to check it. WOW, she was amazing. So professional, responsible, articulate, and l could go on !!! I asked our server for her name and she said her name was Charmaine. I said to our server, she's amazing, and she also agreed. I have been exposed to many wonderful dining experiences in my fifty years but hadn't ever seen anyone show such strong work ethics as that by Charmaine. I want corporate to realize what an asset Charmaine is to Carrabba's. Before l left l walked up to her and l introduced myself to her, and again a smile !!! Amazing !!! ...
Read moreDear Mrs. Charmaine (sorry for potential misspelling) and attention Carrabba’s Italian Grill.
I ALWAYS ordered takeout from Carrabba’s Italian Grill on 2700 Chapel Hill Rd. in Douglasville GA and I must say, it was a fantastic experience from start to finish EVERY SINGLE TIME. The entire process was seamless and the food exceeded all my expectations and Charmaine’s leadership shows within the team’s effectiveness and execution.
The ordering process was quick and easy, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The food was ready right on time for pickup, and the packaging was secure and well-organized.
Now let's talk about the food - it was absolutely delicious! Each dish was bursting with flavor and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The portions were generous and everything tasted like it was made with love and care.
I ordered the Chicken Marsala and it was cooked to perfection - tender chicken smothered in a rich and savory mushroom sauce. The side of garlic mashed potatoes was creamy and flavorful, and the Caesar salad was fresh and crisp.
Overall, my experience with Carrabba’s Italian Grill was nothing short of excellent. I highly recommend their takeout service to anyone looking for a delicious and convenient meal. Five stars all the way!
And LASTLY; to the ownership and/or cooperate seniors; MRS. CHARMAINE IS TRULY AN ASSET AND I DO HOPE RECOGNITION IS...
