I'm a little torn with this Zaxby's. In my opinion, it has not recovered since Covid. Pre-covid, it didn't matter if you went through the drive-through or if you came inside. You knew you would get your food in a timely manner either way, and it would be hot and good. Post-covid, I loathe going through the drive-through. Really, I loathe coming to this location at all. I know it is going to be a 15 - to 30-minute wait, and the drive-through line is always wrapped around the building. They also seem to commonly get your order wrong, so you have to check it before you leave. Another mystery to me is that no one ever spells my name right on my order, and it's only at this location. I thought my name was simple. Maybe "Michelle" is harder than I thought. If I told you how their workers have spelled my name the last 4 x's I've been there, you would really get a good laugh. My daughters and I are often excited to see what spelling I get so we can laugh. It's not upsetting, but it is definitely odd that they can't spell it 🤣. Also, they no longer season the fries with seasoning salt. At least, this has been my experience. I never have it on my fries when I order from here, and I usually realize it once I'm gone. So when we went the other day, I specifically asked for seasoning salt on my fries. Charlie(the young man that took my order) assured me it would be on there. He was a delight, by the way. Unfortunately, my fries were not seasoned when I got my order. He apologized and quickly reached for a cup of pre-packaged seasoning salt and handed it to me. That was an indicator that they either leave it off intentionally, maybe for dietary reasons, or they just always forget, and they have some ready for times as this. Read moreRude ass employees at this location! Went through the drive thru with my 3 daughters. So we ordered 2 chicken finger plate meals and 2 surf and turf meals and a chicken fajita quesadilla. So the girl at the window hands me 1 drink and a bag that contains the 2 chicken finger meals and 1 surf and turf meal and the quesadilla. Mind you she says nothing to me after handing it to me so I wait patiently for her to hand me the other surf and turf meal and 3 more drinks. She comes to the window with an attitude and says “ma’am what are you waiting for?!” I say my other meal and 3 more drinks that I ordered. Another girl says she only entered the one surf and turf not two. I said but I ordered two and we still are missing the other drinks too. So I pay for the meal and she asks me to park and she’ll bring out the food. We decided to stay and eat in the car so we open the bags and there is no sauce at all so me and my youngest go inside and patiently wait because there are two people at the counter ordering. After they step away I step forward and the girl doesn’t even turn to look at us like she just knew I was going to come in and complain which I wasn’t. I just wanted my sauces! So when she finally looks at me I say can I get four sauces there was none in our bag and she says with a snotty ass attitude “you could have just grabbed some.” (There was an box on the counter with some in there). But I wasn’t trying to be rude to the other people that were at the counter by reaching around them and to be honest didn’t see the box because my view was blocked by them. Read moreFirst let me say I love Zaxby's food, and with that said 99.5% of all my visits to Zaxby's is as a doordash Dasher picking up food for Zaxby's customers and delivering it to them that they have ordered via the doordash app. However it seems Zaxby's does not consider these customers their customers, and yes that is just this dasher's opinion, however when the line of cars is wrapped around the building in the drive-thru, because their dining room is not yet open, and I can spot a car that was at the end of the line when I arrived call them and told them I was there and they don't completely through pass that car and started on the next round of cars and I still do not have their customers food to deliver to them then they are cheating their customers who order via doordash and any other food app that they may use. And there's always some excuse they're really busy no duh you're not the only people in town that are really busy. They're short-handed then hire some people who will show up. I've worked in fast food in my youth and seen they would know busy compared to what we saw in Gatlinburg Tennessee they couldn't handle it they'd have to shut the doors on and shut down. They're being totally unfair to their customers who order delivery orders doordash drivers should not have to basically storm the door and look like we're about to write just to get food for Zaxby's customers.
