Kind of was disappointed but we tried this place because it was local and convenient. However, not worth the price. We went on a Wednesday afternoon for lunch date with my fiancé. We were seated fairly quickly. The waitress seemed inexperienced. Came to the table asking for our food order but we hadn’t received drinks, forks, napkins, water…nothing. So we let her know we would start with drinks. Glasses for fountain drinks are extremely narrow so we had refill glasses all over the table seeming how the waitress took forever for everything. What was suppose to be a lunch date went into being a dinner date we were there for three and a half hours. Anyways, We got our drinks and apps ordered. Crab claws and salmon tacos both were great but again no appetizer plates, no forks, no napkins. Asked for napkins, forks, and plates. However, We had ate apps, drank our drinks with out any utensils and finally she brought back ONE FORK. We waited a while to put in our entree orders. So we ordered the steak which was a little tough for medium well good flavor and very chewy. The mash potatoes were not great and asparagus under cooked. My fiancé ordered the red snapper. To our surprise it was a whole fried fish looking at us as it drowned in some gravy sauce. They should put this in the menu. We asked to exchange or would have even paid half off for another entree. Instead they cut the head and tail off and sent it back looking a complete mess. We were put off but just was like forget it. The waitress was so fast bring out the check which is crazy since it took forever for everything else. To our surprise she had a gratuity of 20% was already added which explained the horrible table service because she made her money anyways. The prices were outrageous for the quality, experience, the old building and the subpar food. The prices are high for no reason especially in that area and seems like they really need to train the servers. The good things were the music was definitely a vibe for sure. We should have just stuck with the appetizers they were bomb just nothing to eat them with or on. Probably wouldn’t go back but at least we tried. Hopefully it gets better. Also got there around 2:30 pm or 3 pm and didn’t leave until like 6 pm. It...
Read moreI went to Per Se on a Sunday night to celebrate a friend's birthday around 7:30 PM. Upon entry, I was immediately impressed by the aesthetics in the lounge. The theme was flowers and there was a beautiful flower wall, flower wall paper, flowers on the table with hues of red, pink and lavender.
We were seated at a large table with a cushioned bench in the center across from the bar. Music was low enough to hear your conversations with a mix of r&b hits playing.
Our server was Ramee and she was very sweet and attentive. We were waiting on two more guests to arrive, and she continued to check in and refill water and drinks. Once everyone arrived, I put in an order for the chicken egg rolls.
They came out within 10 minutes and were fresh and flavorful! I would order those again. It comes with 2 cut in half, and was shareable with a small group.
I did not order any cocktails, but my friends seemed to enjoy their drinks.
For my entree, I opted for the salmon burger and fries & I was satisfied with it. The salmon was fresh and flavorful (not a patty!), and the fries were well seasoned. The others at my table ordered the beef burger, salmon with mashed potatoes and pasta with shrimp or chicken. The ladies who did not order burgers mentioned that their orders were lukewarm (i.e the pasta & mashed potatoes), so they ended up taking them to go. One of the ladies requested plasticware and the server mentioned that plastic ware was typically reserved for to go orders.
A little later, Ramee brought out my friend's birthday cake & the crew came with sparklers and a birthday song to celebrate her. The owner, Dre also sent over a gift of forever roses and requested our feedback & ended up sending a flight of green tea for the table. The green tea was good!
Overall, it was a fun experience & I would come back with friends. I would likely reorder the same food...

I had the pleasure of dining at Per Se, the newest gem in Douglasville, and it was an exquisite experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the stunning decor that transported me to another era. The ambiance alone deserves five stars!
The menu offers a tantalizing array of dishes, and I must say, the food is simply outstanding and the presentation was a work of art. Whether you're a foodie or just looking for a delicious meal, Per Se won't disappoint. They even have vegan and vegetarian options.
The drink selection is equally impressive. The cocktails were expertly crafted, and the variety of options ensures there's something for everyone. The signature drinks are a must try; they were that good! Ladies, grab the margarita flight, trust me.
What truly sets Per Se apart, though, is the exceptional customer service. The staff here is not only attentive but genuinely friendly and knowledgeable. They went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was top-notch.
And let's not forget the hidden speakeasy, adding an element of mystery and excitement to the evening. It's like stepping into a secret world within an already enchanting place.
