I booked a room, thinking that it was going to be a great hotel for a decent nights stay being I don’t typically stay here when traveling. I’m a traveling medical professional, but happened to be in a lot of pain this evening, myself, and exhausted. I was lying down and had ordered some food. I got up luckily when I did because there was a roach by the front door so I’m glad I got to the front door before my food came. I called the front desk with my complaint and the person asked me if I wanted someone from maintenance to check it out or if I want to go into another room after explaining that I’m in a lot of pain and I guess I will have to sleep with the lights on. If I was to go to another room, who’s to say there, are not bugs in the other room and either way I will still sleep, or try to, with the lights on which is unacceptable. I also stated that I’m in pain so for me to have to pack up my things, and pull them to another room would cause even more pain and inconvenience. And he just sits there silently until he says, what would I like for him to do about it. Excuse me? How about compensate me for my inconvenience. I’d hate to have to get up in pain and all And try to find another hotel at this time of evening. Then he says oh I’ll give you a discount on tonight’s stay. Well, I will speak to a manager in the morning and I’m also leaving this review so that people know that if you face any sort of inconvenience that it will not be handled in a timely and efficient manner . And also be aware that there are roaches in here.
Also the usage of Fabuloso cleaner is too much. I have respiratory issues and allergies. These things also trigger my headaches so I hope I don’t end up in ER due to the chemicals. I can’t go to another room because it will still smell like chemicals as it’s in the air...
Read moreY'all, let me tell you something. I know some people kind of frown on La Quinta, but look, not this one. This La Quinta was absolutely amazing and perfect. It was very affordable and reasonably priced. I believe this property is fairly new too, so that's even more of a bonus.
The rooms were very nice. They were clean and comfy. We were in a double queen room and it was the perfect amount of space. And the bed, ahhhh, the bed was super comfy.
The continental breakfast was available from 6:30-9:30 and it was nice. It had a waffle maker, oatmeal, bagels, toast, yogurt, cereal, eggs, sausage, coffee, juice, and I could be missing something, but regardless, it was a nice continental breakfast.
They have a fitness center and I absolutely enjoyed it. It had a couple of treadmills and elliptical machines. It also had a spinning bike, some weights, a medicine ball, and other equipment. It was pleasently nice for a hotel.
The staff was absolutely amazing! Daniel was great. He was so nice, friendly, kind, and personable. He checked us in very smoothly and effortlessly. He was also very patient and knowledgeable. Everyone was nice, even the ones who was helping at the continental breakfast. Checkout was also very smooth and effortless.
All in all, 10/10, definitely recommend. We had a really good time here and we really and truly enjoyed our stay. We have 0 complaints anddddd, this hotel is in such a convenient location. Walmart, Sam's, It's Fashions, Catos, and Dollar Tree is all within walking distance of this hotel. There's also Arbour Mall, which is about 10 minutes away from the hotel. There's plently of food and shopping in the area. And the hotel is right by the interstate. We will definitely be back on our next...
Read moreThis place was so bad that I can’t believe it myself. I can’t believe I still have to pay for these stinky rooms. I am a pet owner but we had no pets on this trip. We had two double bed rooms for a family members’ wedding.
The rooms smelled like old wet dog. I think the carpets need cleaning. The smell was just the tip of our problems to come. We arrived at 3 am and one room seemed like the linen and pillows were not dried completely. The dampness got worst overnight and I asked for more blankets and sheets. When we returned from the rehearsals and other pre-wedding events, the floor was slippery damp, the sheets and pillows were wet again so I asked to be moved. We had to sleep in this damp stinky room until another room was available the next day.
The next room was stinky but it just smelled like old carpets that had dirty dogs sleeping on them. The smelled seemed better because it wasn’t wet but it got stronger overnight. We decided to cut our plans to tour Atlanta short and checked out early.
This was the worst hotel stay ever. If the hotel wants to have pets which I do promote as a dog owner, then there should be rooms designated for pets. People without pets should not have to deal with the odors of someone else’s pets. The pets that I saw walking around looked and smelled like outdoor pets.
Please do a better job cleaning the rooms. At least have one house keeper per crew who speaks English. This was the worst experience that I ever had to pay for. Please have the corporate inspectors look at this hotel and start with the fourth flooor where we stay, Rm...
