Painting with a Twist — Attraction in Douglasville

I went to a franchise in Dallas last year and had a blast! I was hoping there were franchises here and was so happy to find multiple locations. I went to the Douglasville location with my daughter last weekend for her birthday and we had a GREAT time! They even placed a Happy Birthday sign at her painting station, such a nice touch and she was so happy. I am about to book another reservation for a date night. The staff is knowledgeable and fun.

Update: I did make a RSVP for a a date night for less than a week later. My husband really enjoyed it and we hung up our paintings as soon as we got home. Shout out to Talia in being a fun instructor. She was knowledgeable, helpful and played the best music!

Update: I went to the Douglasville, GA location and had a blast! I hosted a gathering with my brothers and two sisters, twins, in honor of the girl's birthday. It was their first time going and they had a blast. When we all got home, we sent each other pictures against our text thread showing our new masterpieces on our wall. I took my mom for mother's day. We did a painting with an add on candle pouring. We showed up at 12:30 per the email to complete the candle before class. The lady in the store told us we were really early and seemed frazzled. I told her that the email told us to come in early for the candle. She gave us quick directions on the candle pouring and we started that. The instructor started our painting about 20 minutes after 1pm start time. The painting she instructed us to do was VERY different from the example. The proportions were off by quite a bit. Everyone around me was concerned about the proportions. We painted a bouquet of flowers and her directions did not leave room for flowers at the top. At the end I asked if there were any labels or anything for the candles and was told there were not. So I paid $40 extra for two candles that we basically just poured. There was nothing really special about that process. Just plain white candles with one scent and no personalization or anything. Wish I could leave apply NO stars. This experience was so embarrassing! I brought my mom and sister to the Douglasville location; on Sunday 3, 2023 @ the 3pm class.

I am so embarrassed lol. Are teacher was “stoned” out of her mind, she kept asking the same question over and over and forgetting what the steps are of the painting and the names of the brushes! She was high and it was disgusting…she kept stopping in the middle of the class and going to the bathroom, she would stay in the bathroom for an extremely long time, and when she came out, she was very spaced out.

She kept asking us to repeat are questions over and over! It was NUTS. Then she got into an entire debate with me over why I didn’t like Taylor Swift!!
