China One — Restaurant in Dover Township

Okay so, i’ve been going to this place for a while a few years back but stopped because the prices are and will still be ridiculous. you’re paying so much for low quality food, i don’t understand? a few days ago, i called in to place an order; unfortunately it was the absolutely RUDE lady - i thought she has left. anyway, we got overcooked chicken, the wrong kind of fried rice and basically got charged for food we didn’t order. i went back and told her rude lady about the quality and wrong order of our food and she said that she “didn’t understand” even after i explained to her why i was dissatisfied with the food. i understand language barriers, please don’t get me wrong. but i feel like the ONLY time you’ll get good food service is during the lunchtime hours because the guy in the front is so nice and the food is actually good and easily to chew and swallow without chipping a tooth.

i feel like service would be so much better if the quality of the food was better, the prices were LOWERED and the lady was either fired (not sure if she owes the joint or not) or had some kind of customer service training because she is the many reasons why business is so bad there. along with the place overall, it’s dirty and disgusting. i recommend y’all go to the chinese joint in west gate because their food is really good. until china one gets their act together, you won’t...

The food quality is good. The lady behind the counter seems like she needs something in her life that nobody could possibly give her. I don't get her. Just plain rude. Well ordered my food and noticed that the bill seemed a little high. Went to store to shop and told her I'd be back for it. They used to stuff the trays. Now you barely get anything and on top of the lack of food it seems she overcharged me by like 13 dollars. So I got home added it up. Ordered 2 general tso chicken combo platters 1 house lo mein and an order of steamed dumplings so my order should have been like 41.00. Somehow it came our to almost 55.00. After the way the lady came off I didn't even feel like going back to tell her. I also put a 5 dollar tip in their little jar. I feel robbed. The lack of consideration for their customers is a little overwhelming and hopefully this lady seeks out some professional help to learn how to be a nice person. Gonna sound like a Karen but that’s ok because this is the WORST Chinese “restaurant” I have EVER been to. The woman behind the counter is the most unpleasant woman you’ll ever meet. I got the beef lo mein and I don’t know what the meat was but I promise you it did not taste like beef. Gave it a second chance and ordered on grub hub only to curse myself for it because the same lady was trying to say I didn’t pay for my food and was telling me to come in and pay in person and got a huge attitude when I tried to explain that I had already paid (VERY nicely). She then “got it figured out” and told me okay she’ll make it. IMMEDIATELY after getting off the phone, I get a notification that my order was canceled. She is rude and unprofessional and she has no business working with customers.
