ABC Donuts — Restaurant in Downey

Something has changed! We've been exclusively coming here for our donut fix for over 6 years, ordered custom donuts for birthday parties, and jumbo donuts for other celebrations. This place had the best donuts around not just in Downey. Lately, the donuts are not fluffy, and you can taste the oil. This morning, we gave it another try, hoping the last 2x were a fluke(anyone can have a bad day), but they were just gross. If today had been my first visit, I wouldn't return. Really sad about this. Today was my first visit to this wonderful place after driving by it for many years. Had an early dental cleaning appointment. My hygienist recommend this donut place, especially their cronuts. OMG! They are heavenly! Not too hard, not too soft, just right! I felt like Goldilocks walking out of there. Great customer service with a greet and smile. Like the ambiance. I am definitely a returning customer. Only regret: I should have bought more...
