Antojitos y Pupuseria Toñita — Restaurant in Downey

Im very disappointed, today the waitress was a young lady who was very rude seemed like she was mad; I ask her what was the name of a sweet bread that looked like a cookie and she responded back with an attitude and said “ I don’t know “ and she left: it’s my third time coming in to Pupuseria El Carrisal I really enjoyed last past two times I was there, because a sweet little girl who has great customer service skills for only being maybe around 10 years old waited me the first time I was very happy with her service, second time was these past Saturday a young men who also had a good attitude and great customer service skills. I usually go to Myra’s Salvadorian Cuisin in Downey CA , but a friend of mine invited me to a Carrisal gave the place a thumbs up, and she was right , pupusas are yummy, meet enpanadas, bread quesadilla except atole wasn’t as good ; but today pupusas didn’t have enough stuffing, I think the young lady waitress didn’t like me, don’t know why, it’s to bad to have people like her serving in a restaurant because food is...

We ordered grubhub a hour ahead from our lunch. We work in the healthcare field so it’s hard to go out and buy food due to the amount of patients we see. The driver arrived to the restaurant. The driver said that the restaurant never received the order and that they don’t do grubhub. If they don’t do grubhub why are they taking orders? The driver proceeded to call me and it was a call with us three (employee included) the employee cussed us out which was shocking. If an employee isn’t happy with their job they shouldn’t be working there. I reported this restaurant to grubhub and the driver reported the restaurant to the health department due to how dirty it is. Luckily we got the money back but I won’t...

My mother visited when it first opened. She recommended the carne asada. When I entered I was impressed by the painting by the entrance... the mural of the Revolución on the wall. Cozy ambiance... couldn't wait to taste the juicy, tender carne asada my mom had bragged about. We ordered and we were told that there was a 100 order of pupusas ahead of us. We watied about 40 minutes after we ordered. I believe the were about 2 ladies in the kitchen cooking. I was growing desperate... finally the order came. $13/ plate...I wasn't impressed.
