No excuse for sub-par food ever at this location, there's always a surprise visiting this location in Downey (Paramount Blvd) food never made the way you ask for it, and sloppy, you can always count on your Burger being halfway out of the bun and other things. If you ask for anything extra, you won't get it. No matter how many times I post about this location, nothing ever changes for the better. The only good news is that they are open 24hrs. UPDATE: As of 12-2-22, today I decided to give this place another chance, only to have worse problems , I once again asked for some extra big Mac sauce for the 2 buy one get one offer, so after waiting 20 minutes to get the order, the girl gives me a little itty bitty splash of sauce that wasn't enough for 1 big Mac let alone the 2 I ordered. When I asked for more showing the skimpy amount, she wanted me to pay for it ( why should I pay twice on top of the burgers I already payed for) when she already gave it to anyway! She wasn't going to accommodate me as a customer and a senior citizen, so I asked for a refund after speaking to Yoshi the manager who sided with the counter girl, I was given a refund and the change she gave me was short 1.00 and I had to yell at her to look at what she gave me back. The manager made a somewhat nasty remark as she was leaving. I will show photo of what I got. I hope Corporate Mc Donalds see this review and contacts me regarding this location and it's issues. Personally I think this place is a racist location, because I noticed from the past that people of Latin culture Never seem to have any issues with getting things the ask for, from my observation, but as an elderly white man, I am not treated the same. My observation. Maybe I'm wrong but I don't think so. Now I don't have an app discount to use at another location because I used it at the counter for the buy one get one offer. Shame on this McDonald's location Paramount Blvd,...
Read moreThe McDonald's #633 in Downey is average, I ordered a mocha with ice and was given a hot beverage. Marisela refused to change my beverage and said that's the way its made. Which in fact was incorrect. I didn't say anything at that point or make a scene I left and called the 1-800 number to McDonald's to confirm if you can order a mocha with ice and does the customer have a choice? Which in fact they do. The next time around I went back to McDonald's and Marisela was standing across the way and I was at the cash register ordering my food, when she went off on me and told me that it was my fault that she got written up. In front of customers and employees. I found that to be very rude unprofessional condescending, demeaning on her part because whatever transpires between her boss that doesn't concern the customer. She had no right to embarrass me and reproach whatever transpired between her and her boss. She also lied to her boss and told her that I cussed her out which in fact never happened. That's why there's cameras. t I was so upset that I was crying. There were other employees who were shocked and asked me if I was ok. The employees told me that she's mean, rude and moody. Because if the unpleasant and unfortunate experience I had from Mariselas ignorant, nasty demeanor and unpleasant attitude it will not prevent me from going to McDonald's She needs to re-adjust her attitude and conduct herself in a professional manner whether she likes the customer or not. "Marisela is a disgrace and embarrassment to McDonald's Corporation", Because if it wasn't for paying customers, she wouldn't have a job! I'm there to get my food.. Nothing more nothing more and...
Read moreI was quite impressed with the efficient, and timely service in the Drive Thru. I would have given 5 Stars, because the Sausage w-Egg Biscuit was warm, and delicious. I deducted 1 Star because the Cashier initially short-changed me by 1 dollar, I had to remind him that I paid with a 5 dollar bill, plus change to warrant $1.07 Change. He apologized, and quickly gave me my correct change, and then I moved forward to the 2nd window, where the young man advised me that my Bacon w-Egg Biscuit was ready, and I handed him the receipt to explain that I ordered a Sausage w-Egg Biscuit. He turned to the Kitchen, and was advised that it was indeed a Sausage w-Egg Biscuit. The young man apologized for mis-speaking, and politely handed me my food. I checked the bag, and then drove off. A Five Star Opportunity was missed by my FAVE...
