Poke2 Grill — Restaurant in Downey

I got severe food poisoning from the salmon here and then developed PI-IBS from how severe the infection was. Please look up PI-IBS I have been suffering for over a week now. I should’ve listened to my brother in law when he warned me about his own experience getting food poisoning from this place and he even broke out into hives. They have highschoolers in charge of handling raw fish, that should’ve been another red flag I shouldn’t have ignored. Please buy your poke from a safer option. Please take my advice and prioritize your health. PI-IBS can last for months to even years. On top of it their portions were never consistent and always stingy. EDIT: Just learned that the PI-IBS I developed from eating at this horrible place will be a long term issue in my life from now on. I am seriously concerned for anyone eating from this place. I heard about a brand new poke place that opened in Downey. I LOVE poke so I make sure I try all the best poke places. It took me over an hour to get there but it was completely worth it. Poke 2 Grill is now my favorite poke restaurant even though there are so many restaurants closer to me I will definitely be making the drive out there. Also, I love having a nice drink with my meal, and this restaurant not only offers the best selection of beers but also has wine! The staff was so friendly and very helpful and were educated about the menu and how everything tastes and gave me good recommendations. Another thing about this place that I don't see at other poke restaurants is the variety in their menu items. They have more of a selection not just poke bowls for those people that prefer options.
