Having recently dined at the Green Olive restaurant, I'm eager to share my experience. This cozy spot specializes in a delightful array of meat choices, including kababs, shish kabobs, and chicken—favorites that my friend raved about after multiple visits. While the carnivorous options are abundant, I was pleasantly surprised to find thoughtful considerations for vegan and vegetarian diners on the menu.
For those on plant-based diets, there are three dedicated vegan and vegetarian dishes available, alongside an impressive selection of salads that match the variety offered in the meat section. What stood out was the authenticity of the vegan offerings—they weren't mere substitutes but genuine culinary creations, a refreshing change from the norm.
Despite the restaurant's small size, it boasts an ambiance adorned with captivating artwork that adds a touch of elegance and charm to the dining experience. The visual appeal adds to the overall warmth of the place, making it a delightful setting for a meal.
For anyone looking to treat their plant-eating friends, this place is a gem, although not too many options. However, with its genuine vegan choices and an inviting ambiance, they're sure to find flavorful dishes without leaving hungry. Green Olive manages to cater to diverse tastes while maintaining quality and authenticity—a definite recommendation for a satisfying...
Read moreI wanted a little change in my step. NO it's NOT what you're thinking. We all go through our same standard routines of foods and the routes that you take to work and back home. So today it was a record breaking storm that closed Paramount Blvd. near the 5 Freeway. It changed me from my daily routine. Thank goodness it did. It made me pass through all the backed up traffic, then drove tru a small shopping center, where i noticed a Mediterranean restaurant called "Green Olive".
I rushed home to pick-up Wifey and to share another moment together trying out some new flavors. Wifey and I decided to ask one of the servers named Jacob. He recommended the Green Olive Platter for us. It has a bit of everything. The flavors are truly authentic and with the generous portions, we shared one platter. I recommend getting your meat medium, not dry...just right. Thank you Jacob! Baklava always very enjoyable...but if you never had Kunafa, you're missing out. Great staff and very friendly. They also carry Albani mint yogurt drink..one of my ALL time favorites.

Read moreFirst time at this location & come with the kids. We ordered the Kabob Family Feast. It looked like a good value versus buying 4 plates. We asked if we could swap out the spicy potatos for Geta Potatos, and they happily obliged. Everything was made to order and tasted very fresh. The hummus was amazing. Creamy, savory, and a perfect accompaniment with everything served. The gyro and chicken were a hit with the kids. The beef, shrimp, and kafta were also terrific. Everything cooked exactly to order. The salad was a hit between my wife and I. The dressing is lemony and really works well with the cucumbers and tomatoes. The feast came with 6 whole pita breads served hot and steamy. It was actually more than we could eat! All 4 of us ate, and there was almost a full plate of leftovers to enjoy another day. Be sure to ask for plates if you order the feast as it wasn't automatically brought to us, although they knew we were eating in restaurant. The green spicy sauce and the garlic sauce were both delicious, but we preferred the garlic sauce. We will definitely be...
