Shakey's Pizza Parlor — Restaurant in Downey

I asked for a pepperoni and pineapple pizza. I had to ask three times, the first time the lady told me that she would tell the cooks, 15 minutes passed and I did not see the pizza.i asked again and the same lady told me that there was too much pizza at the bar and that the cooks usually wait. 15 minutes passed again and there was barely any pizza at the bar so I asked politely again. The lady then told me that nobody really likes pepperoni and pineapple which I understood and asked if they could just make half, I know it would not be a waste because it's a buffet and I planned on eating half a pizza. I gave up and just ate pepperoni pizza. Will not come back here, food was good just upset of how rude they were and weren't honest with me on the first time, I would of just ate something else instead of...

Ate their all-you-can-eat buffet I I was impressed there was different varieties of pizzas, fried chicken, baked chicken, they had pasta with either meat sauce or non meat, mojo potatoes, corn, mahed potatoes and gravy and a nice salad bar. Also they have fountain drinks and tea all you can drink. And for the kids they have games which you can earn tickets and redeem them at their store for prices the games are meant for real young kids but overall we had a good time. Their all-you-can-eat buffet is sort of like pizza meets Kentucky Fried Chicken. I grew up with with Shakey's Pizza so for me the pizza is unique, there's nothing better eating pizza with the root beer that's how I do...

The 🍕 is really good. My family's favorite however the service is questionable. Everytime I call I get put on hold for over 5 min and no one picks up. I have to call back to order and by that time I have already driven there or halfway there. It's frustrating. Special order Mojo's ....EXTRA CRISPY. they don't seem to understand . I have to ask multiple times. Once it's done it tastes great just need to make sure I get them done correctly the first time.

Additional information: they do not pay attention when making the order. We order light light sauce every single time we come and almost half the time they have to remake the pizza because they put extra sauce. They need to pay...
