11/11/22 i accidentally made a mistake on the mobile order. I ordered a venti Irish cold brew with extra cream and 2 pumps of Irish syrup with 2 pumps of mocha sauce. MY mistake was that I wanted 2 pumps of WHITE mocha sauce. Anyways, I went to the drive thru line and told them that I picked up my mobile order and it was supposed to be white mocha sauce. The lady who took my order proceeded to remake my order and then rudely cut me off when I told her āno, I want only 2 pumps of Irish cream not extraā and she said āyeah I was going to say extra Irish cream, I already know I was the one who made your drinkā anyway, I ignored her sarcastic remark and when I went to the drive thru window I gave her my drink and told her that I had put regular mocha sauce. She snatched the cup and again told me āI already know I made your drinkā then she proceeded to turn away half rolling her eyes. I still thanked her and as I left, I was so upset at the way she confronted me. I knew I was in the wrong and I apologized for it and she still decided to treat me that way. I went to McDonaldās down paramount and got much better service. It sucks because my drink here at Starbucks was more expensive than my whole meal at McDonaldās. I live really close by to this location here in Downey and the work ethic, exhibited by some employees is what really brings this place down. Example⦠I ordered a cinnamon dolce latte with whip and and they gave me a flat lid. I asked him if I could get dome lid and a straw. They gave me a dome lid but told me that they had no straws at the location. The next time I went, and ordered the same drink through the drive-through and they gave me the same. Only no whip, so I asked for whip and had the drink snatched from my hand, and when I got the drinkā¦no cinnamon, and was given a straw. So then they do have straws. I know these are kids working here. But, there are literally hundreds of locations around town where you can tell that the attitude is not tolerated. Their delivery system is brutal. You can go inside and no one is around. But they take care of the mobile orders first because apparently they have priority. But if you just order a regular coffee, ā¦black⦠It shouldnāt take very long to do it really quickly. I waited around to see how long it would take. 45 minutes. No kidding. Just for a coffee. Get these kids in line....
