My daughter and I visited this shop to get matching nose piercings. We were greeted by everyone as soon as we walked in the shop. Within 5 minutes of being there someone was asking us about what services we were interested in receiving and providing us with an estimated wait time and paper work to complete. The wait was not long and once it was our turn we were escorted to the piercing room. The gentleman who gave us our piercing was incredibly friendly and took the time to explain the process, helped us decide on placement and then pierced our noses. He was very gentle, caring and made sure both me and my daughter were comfortable the entire time we were there. He even gave my little one a pink stick on gem for nose, so she would feel included. A few days after getting my piercing I noticed that I was experiencing swelling so I returned to the shop for an evaluation. Again, as soon as I walked in the shop, I received a warm greeting by all of the employees and was helped without too much of a waiting period. Ultimately, it was decided that my original nose ring needed to be replaced with a longer ring. The same gentleman that pierced my nose order me a new ring that was at the shop the next day. When I returned to the shop, he switched out my piercing with the same gentleness and caring spirit that I experienced a few days prior when I first got my nose pierced. Overall, our piercing experience was fantastic, the pricing was amazing, the shop was clean and the energy and vibe was top tier!
I also ended up getting an amazing tattoo by the one and only Rob! He was so cool from the start. He helped me decide which tattoo design I should get and when I showed up for my appointment he was prepped and ready to go. Rob made my tattoo experience incredible. He took extra care to make sure I was comfortable the entire visit. He is a whole vibe!!!! We literally talked, laughed, joked and sang the entire time. Rob is SUPER TALENTED and I am in LOVE with my tattoo! I left the shop with a new tattoo artist and friend. Any time I am back in LA I will definitely be visiting to let Rob ink...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAvoid this shop at all costs! āŗļø I spent $150 here getting a tattoo and a free piercing to go with it. Trusting the promo was probably my mistake. Shout out to Daniel for doing my tattoo! However, my piercerās name started with an M, and he told me the lip labret would āstraighten outā when I pointed out how it was done off center. He put the needle through so slowly tooāIt was excruciating for a repierce. He insisted the jewelry was straight even though it was immediately veering to one side, and now I have an awful scar. He couldnāt even follow the marks we made! When I talked to the owner about solutions, he mixed me up with others over the phone who have had botched piercings from this shop, which tells me this happens often. Iām sure occasionally piercings go wrong, but for it to be a regular occurrence is ridiculous. In person, he also told me itās no big deal and it happens. Yes, there are much bigger things to worry about in the grand scheme of life, but these are peopleās faces you are talking about Julian! This guy should stick to his boat business if he doesnāt care about these types of mess ups. I went in for a possible consultation to get something else done instead, but his employee made me feel so uncomfortable I may just cut my losses. It felt so violating that my face was messed up like that and for the worker to act as though it was done right. Another piercer from a different shop clocked how crooked it was instantly. The whole experience was so draining, even in the weeks just trying to massage out the scar tissue. Now, I donāt know if my lip will be able to handle ever getting the piercing back, and it still hurts to this day. The scarring is awful, and Iām upset to end up with no piercing and visibly damaged lips. Incompetence should not be so easily dismissed when considering a personās face, so if my review helps 1 person NOT get a piercing from these people, I did something right....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe lady was kind and eased my concerns about having my first cartilage piercings. She was cool and made jokes and explained everything she was doing well. The problem is she pierced my conches at such a wonky angle that I could tell walking out of there that they weren't even close to even on both sides nor did they sit in my ears comfortably for healing but she blamed it on my ears and said "Eh just throw a ring in it when it heals and it'll look fine". Well I waited 8 months to switch to a hoop battling with the studs, and they're done so inaccurate one ear fits a 12mm hoop and the other fits a 10mm hoop and they look wonky sitting in my ear. So, not only did they look noticeably bad, they've given me almost a year of poor healing and multiple jewelry changes because of the uncomfortable angle. She also gave unhealthy piercing aftercare advice, like using a q-tip with Bactine to clean the area, when in reality I should have been using a spray saline. Not to mention, the jewelry was so small, she accounted for no swelling and my ears practically swallowed the jewelry so I had to buy different bars several times and then purchase hoops. My husband gave her $100 for piercings that were discounted for Mothers Day that were around like $50. So, what a great tip for a crap job. Here I am almost one year later still battling pain, swelling, piercing bumps, redness, the increasing cost of dealing with these piercings, despite cleaning gently every day. And now I'm at the point I will have to take...
