I travel often as a storyteller & designer for major companies...and with a high degree of emotional & conversational intelligence, I'm very aware of people's theory of mind.

When a young lady is taking the orders of 3-4 people ahead of you, and when it is your turn ( I was next to order after those 3-4 people ) she abandons the register & leaves you there (8 -10 minutes / never to return / I time all my meals to be efficient in my business) until a gentleman has the courtesy to recognize you've been in line for 10 minutes & finally takes your order...there's a issue.

The fact is this: emotional & conversational intelligence play vital roles in life and business, and everyone is entitled to their ideologies and preferences, but if you're working for or running a business, please pay attention to the fact that customers come in all shapes, sizes, colors, & have different EQ & C-IQ levels! If they are willing to spend money at your establishment fulfil the obligation of taking care of the them /...

After reading the negative reviews i am truly sadden by what i had read . I understand everyone is entiled to their own opinion but i have grown up in doylestown and believe in shopping local and bagel barrel is the greatest breakfast spot in doylestown. Doylestown is not a city so nothing really is fast passed but at bagel barrel they make sure they serve its customers in a timly manner even at their busiest. The customer service is all about the home town feel always trying to brighten your day. The bagels them selves are great full of flavor ( my favorite is blueberry with cim. Sugur butter) and always soft and fresh . I have never had a time of bad service when going here . The owner also has never been rude to anyone but instead always talking to customers. Everyone has there off day so i hope that the people that left negative reviews would please reconsider and try bagel barrel again and welcome to the home town feel of Doylestown and enjoy a great...

First and foremost, this is clearly one of the more poorly maintained resturaunts in Doylestown. When you walk in it just doesn't look or feel clean. Contributing to the unsettling atmosphere is the literal wall of microwaves used by the staff to microwave your egg sandwiches to order. Secondly, the staff is very rude when taking orders. The man who took my 10 year old brother's order told him that he had to hurry up after hesitating for about 5 seconds to decide what he wanted to eat... The bagels are decent, but the egg sandwiches are downright gross since they're prepared with a microwave. There are better options in the Doylestown area for egg sandwiches that are actually cooked to order...

Bagel Barrel 📍60 West State Street, Doylestown, PA Where’s the best bagel in Bucks County? It’s at Bagel Barrel. Owners Steve and Nick are keeping it 💯 with the best of the best. Highly recommend Steve’s favorite… a jalapeno everything bagel, bacon, egg, and cheddar and jalapeno cream cheese. 🤤 #chefnickeats #clarefamily #visitpa #visitbucks

Disgusting and embarrassing breakfast. Eggs had grey spots in them, “Crispy bacon” was a mess of fat embedded in the cheese and the ketchup had a funky flavor and odd texture. I spent a lot of money treating family visiting from NY to a NY favorite breakfast of bacon, egg & cheese on a bagel and they all threw them in the trash. It was embarrassing and made me question the quality of food and sanitation practices. I called three times and got an answering machine and never received a call back. There are other bagel shops in our area. This one should be reviewed by the board of health. Not worthy of a single star for food or service.

Bagel was good, but everything else on it was microwaved and very bland. I review bagel shops and travel all over to try new ones, and this one was disappointing. The place is very plain but looked clean. Service was meh at best. I kind of felt like I was bothering the lady behind the counter just by being there. I got a sausage egg and cheese on a garlic bagel. The bagel had a nice crunch, but I lost all hope when I saw her put the egg and the sausage in the microwave. If you're in the area, this is a basic breakfast spot, but it's definitely not worth the trip from Philly.
