This is always a place I stop by when visiting my parents. Growing up in Dtown and going to a CB school, it was easy to get my summer reading books each year--they were always stacked right in the main area, ready to be ransacked by teens and tweens of the like. I was even here at Midnight Madness, awaiting with most of my family for the last Harry Potter book to come out so we could buy our copy. I've seen this place changed around over the years, but I do think that it has been all for the better. Read moreExcellent family owned bookstore. For a medium sized store, they have a great selection. Especially notable is the kids section, the bestsellers, and my favorite, the staff picks. They also have some really great gifts scattered throughout the store. It’s really fun to browse this store.
In addition to the things they sell, they bring a great deal of warmth to the community. They have excellent events featuring world renowned authors, local authors, and other fun events. The staff is always kind and helpful, and they’ll order anything you need if they don’t have it in stock.

Lots of different themed areas. Clean, organized, well lit, and very spacious. Some small down book stores you feel closed in. I didn't get any books, but my daughter did. I need to get through my TBR at home. However, I couldn't resist adding a Gilmore Girls tumbler to my collection. I would have loved the coffee mug as well, but not in my budget at this time.
