Salsa's is one of our favorite restaurants in Dublin, GA. It is close to our home and easy access for anyone getting off I-16 onto Highway 441. We lived in Arizona where there is a different Mexican restaurant on every corner and find Salsa's to be just as good, and much better than many of those restaurants. They have many options with different flavor profiles and some unique items on the menu. My personal favorite is the molcajete. It has a delicious rich sauce, grilled nopales, onions, jalapeno, shrimp, beef, or chicken, or all three. This dish comes out hot and simmering in a traditional molcajete that holds the heat for a long time. Diner beware! The Chile relleno, enchiladas, fajitas are all very good and the fresh guacamole is always a hit. Friendly servers are quick and the food comes out fresh and hot every time. The parking lot fills quickly on Friday and Saturday evenings so be prepared to wait.

We came here last year on a road trip to Savannah and enjoyed it. This time, not as much. The California burrito was very bland and ingredients not evenly distributed. Only 2-3 bites in the very middle had all I ingredients , rest was just tortilla and dry meat. Asked for more cheese as it didn’t come with much but got surprises charge $2 ar end (we don’t mind paying if they tell us up front but get annoyed when they tack it on without any forewarning). I got the grilled chicken dish with mushrooms, onions (no bell peppers). I cant eat beans so I asked if I could swap our beans or the beans/rice for fries and waiter said yes.I asked if I needed to switch both beans & rice for fries, or just one, and he said he could change out 1:1. Then we got a $2 charge for that. The fries tasted old and reheated.the chicken didn’t have flavor and needed salt. The blue margarita was good. We won’t be coming back.

Kind friendly service. Wife ordered Burrito Texano (41A), said flavor was okay, however temperature of her meal was rather cool, would prefer it to be a bit warmer. I ordered the Salsa's House Special (24), and it was a warm and flavorful meal. Portions for both meals were adequate and filling, and we didn't leave hungry. The atmosphere/environment could use some improvements. Let's just say that the smell of the area we were seated wasn't pleasant for the nostrils. It seemed that each time the air vent came on the nostril offending odors would become stronger. Almost didn't stay for this reason 🙃, but we were hungry at the time. All said, when passing through the area again, I would probably give them another try.

The only reason I am giving this place two stars is because the margaritas were on point considering the price. However, we just stopped by because we were out of town and hungry. Our server seemed friendly, although she was not up to speed. We asked for extra salsa as well as napkins at the very beginning before we even ordered. We never received the salsa until after the food came out and the napkins came after the meal. We ordered the poblano fajitas for 12 dollars and didn’t receive the shrimps, the side plate came with probably a spoonful of beans which looked as if they came from a can and the guacamole seemed as if it came out of a bag. Nothing, including the salsa, looked homemade. The fagitas barely came with any poblano peppers even though that was supposed to be the main ingredient considering the name of the dish. We also ordered a bean/cheese dip which we had to call a manger over because it was pretty much only cheese dip and a little amount of beans. I’m not usually one to complain, especially because I’ve been serving for years. However, this was absolutely the worst Mexican food and service I have ever had. This says a lot considering I work at a Mexican restaurant. Never caught the servers name but considering how slow it was and the manager should know exactly what happened, it should not be hard to figure out. Also, on a side note, we came in at 5 pm on a Monday, we were charged full price on these regular 18oz margaritas which was 6.25. As we were walking out, a sign was posted for happy hour that ended at 6 pm about 3.50 margaritas which our server neglected to inform us about. I’m not sure if it was pure ignorance or she was trying to receive a better tip, but we definitely pointed it out on our way out. I hate to post this review, however co side ring I’m a server and I work at a Mexican/Mayan restaurant myself, I’m extrenely disappointed about every part of our service including the food. I hope this will be some constructive criticism and this place steps...

Summary: food is dry, salsa is good, service is excellent.

The food is 3 star worthy at best, with the chips and Salsa and sweet tea being the best part of the meal. The service is 4 to 5 stars. We got a burrito and a plate, both had essentially the same meats. The chicken and steak in all of it was super dry. I didn't enjoy it at all. The tortillas they give you on the side are oversized corn tortillas that fall apart as soon as you pick them up. Useless for wrapping. The only thing that saved this night was the service. I loved the southern hospitality here. The owner came out right when our food arrived to ask how everything is, which was appreciated but a bit early since I hadn't taken any bites. He did seem to be ontop of his game as far as that goes, but did also chase us out the door to make sure we didn't take off with his 10 cent pen...not the best ending to the night...but I might still visit again to get some great service, chips and salsa, and try...

Not bad, not good, just more mid than anything food-wise. Drinks are good, everything was priced great for the portions. Service felt a little rushed but I'm pretty sure they were busy on the other side of the restaurant, so we didn't take it personally. I'm from Cali so naturally I expect everything to be packed with flavor, unfortunately the ground beef tasted like it had been canned in water. Again, it wasn't bad, just not in my top faves. More than likely I'd go back for the chips, they were super good, even though the salsa was a little mid and again the drinks were good. Everyone was nice, we just felt like the manager (assuming) seemed like he doesn't really like his job, even though he was pleasant. All in all, I enjoyed myself it was definitely an experience going down in the books. My co-driver said her food wasn't bad, just lacked a little bit of flavor. I'd recommend for a quick bite to dine in and after work drinks and new...
