Noon Rock Pizza — Restaurant in Dubois

We came here on their opening day. Everything was fine at first, they took our order, got our drinks. We ordered side salads and pizzas. Our salads took 40 min to come out, and our pizzas probably 55 min. Long time...They have a beautiful expensive brick oven, and brick ovens usually cook pizzas very fast so we were wondering why it was taking so long. When we were brought the pizzas they were not thin crust. They were not brick oven style. We inquired and it seems that you need to pay $2 more if you want it cooked in the brick oven. Really??? They have an expensive brick oven and they don't even use it? We would have paid more $ if the server would just let us know during the order!!! They cooked them in a regular oven instead... And then we wanted gelato but server didn't ask but just brought the bill. They lost $ that day. Service not good, they need to improve a lot. Salads are good though, fresh tasting. This place was unfortunately a mess. My wife and I decided to stop here for our first night of our honeymoon and we're excited to get a drink together. My wife had recently turned 21, and had not received an ID from the dmv, so we brought her old ID and a new official paper copy of the new one. The waitress would not accept either ID. We did not argue with her and we ordered our food. We overheard the waitress call the rest of the customers a bunch of assholes while working the bar, which was highly unprofessional. We then waited 50 minutes and never received our food, so we decided to leave as some of the other customers were doing the same. We ended up going to the V Cafè up the street, and they accepted the forms of ID my wife provided, and we had all of our delicious food within 15 minuits. Truly...

The food was great! Unfortunately, the overall dining experience was let down by the service. We waited over an hour for our meal without any prior notice that the kitchen was running behind. Upon arrival, we had to seat ourselves and then waited nearly 20 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. Throughout the meal, service was minimal and inattentive, with long gaps between check-ins.

What made the delay more frustrating was the lack of communication; when we inquired about the wait time, no one followed up with an update. Meanwhile, it was disheartening to see staff eating behind the bar while guests were still waiting for their food.
