Upside Food N Drink — Restaurant in Dudley

I called earlier the same day to ask if we needed to get there early as it was a Tuesday and I was told that we’d be fine to get a table after 7 pm. Best thing I could say was it seemed clean. Unfortunately we didn’t get to try anything food wise. We walked in on a Tuesday night, no one greeted us and there was no sign to seat yourself. So we sat at a table and waited and waited and waited. A waitress came by and said she’d be right with us. Never got a menu, drink or anything. We looked around the room and never saw her again. We waited 25 minutes and just left. We had been looking forward to trying the food and play musical bingo but unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience. Menu looked great, good website, and food was decent. However, the reasons for the two stars are: Called for a to go order on Friday night and was hung up on twice. The third time the girl answered the phone with a “Hello” Cash only. This is the only restaurant I’ve been to recently and it was cash only. There is an atm in there but of course you have to pay more fees. $15 for a burger and it came with potato chips. I would expect some good fries with a $15 burger but there were no fries.

It would also be great if we could just place an order online. Would make things a lot easier and would save everyone time. However, its cash only so not sure that will be possible...

Want a good place for music? Great and welcoming bartenders? This is the place to be! From the bartenders (Marlene and Marci on my Friday nights!) to the live music to the Barbacks making sure you have a fun and safe night (thanks Phil!) you can’t get any better. The food is amazing. (Kitchen closes at 9) to the music (til 11) you can’t go wrong. I came here once and ALWAYS came back for my bartenders for their amazing drinks and giving such a welcoming atmosphere!
