American Deli — Restaurant in Duluth

Today, I had the opportunity to visit the American Deli location in Duluth for the first time, and from the moment I stepped inside, I was met with an exceptional experience. The first thing I noticed was the cleanliness of the restaurant, which immediately set a positive tone. I was warmly greeted by the person at the counter, whose hospitality made me feel genuinely welcomed. As I struck up a conversation, I learned that they were not just employees but the owner-operators of the restaurant, personally overseeing its daily operations.

A glance at the wall revealed a perfect 100-point health inspection score, reinforcing my confidence in the establishment’s commitment to quality and hygiene. I decided to order the beef Philly combo and wings, both of which exceeded my expectations. The food was prepared quickly without compromising quality, and every bite was packed with flavor. Beyond the great taste, what truly stood out was the level of service—friendly, sincere, and truly customer-focused.

It was evident that the owners put their heart and dedication into running this restaurant, striving to provide both excellent food and an outstanding dining experience. Their hard work and commitment to excellence are inspiring, and I sincerely hope that their journey toward achieving the American Dream continues...

This place used to be really good, but since they have changed ownership the quality of food has gone down.😞 The gyro combo was 10.99 and they filled it with mostly lettuce tomato and onion. I looked past the fact that it was not even warm since they basically put a whole salad on top.🤦🏽‍♀️ There aren't any true American Deli combos at this location because I be wanted to get wings with rice and she attempted to charge 4.99 to add them as a side! Smdh! $14.99 ... Come on! lunch isn't s'pose to be dang near $20! The fries were horrible, limp and barely warm, along with the doughy pita bread.... this will be my last visit! Sad, and I don't believe they have been here for a year even!!! No wonder restaurants don't make it out here. Two stars cause had had no time to get anything else so I ate...

dawg. i bought this from uber eats at 3am last night because it was one of the only places open and i was craving wings. when i tell u i literally died and ascended to heaven from the first bite 😭 i have NEVER in my life have had wings as good as these, and trust, i’ve had A LOT of them. better than wingstop 100% and far better than zaxbys. i will be ordering again and again and again 😭 like this place genuinely changed the trajectory of my life. i got the garlic parmesan with medium sauce, extra wet. do u know how good ur food has to be for me to still be thinking about it when i wake up?? insane...
