Baskin-Robbins — Restaurant in Duluth

It's been a decade since we last tried this location for ice cream cakes. Sadly, their service has declined even more. When I arrived, I was the only customer in the store. I think there was 1 in the drive thru. I was not greeted with a smile or a "how can I help you?" But with a pointed stare. I let them know I was here to pick up a cake I had ordered. It took almost 10 minutes for 2 workers to locate the cake. The box they had the cake in would not close properly, and one of the workers spent several minutes making an attempt. (When I got home I also noticed some melted ice cream on the outside of the box. Ew) When they showed me the cake, I noticed that the lettering and top were somewhat freezer burned. I placed my order just a few days ago. This was a custom cake. How was it freezer burned? We get a couple of ice cream cakes a year from other baskin robbins locations, and have never received a freezer burned cake... Except for when we got a cake from this location a decade ago.

Apart from the service, the whole store feels dirty. One tiny detail was that the "clean" spoons are in a cup on the counter, half pointed down and half pointed up. The rest of it, I can't explain because I was just trying to get out of there and didn't want to look at anything too closely.

The young staff seems to have difficulty listening. I told the young cashier I needed a "small Dark Roast with cream and sugar" and he said Iced coffee and I said no and repeated what I wanted back to him "small dark roast COFFEE cream and sugar". A couple of minutes later what shows up at the counter? A small Iced coffee I never ordered. I repeated my order back to the young cashier again a bit more forceful and frustrated, stating I told him twice what I asked for, but he keeps getting iced coffee stuck in his mind. Perhaps he should have removed the drive through headset he was wearing to hear the customer in front of...

Avoid ordering from uber eats , the first time i thought oversight. The second time i messaged the eats driver clearly to check, the driver apparently showed my message and they confirmed all of the order is packed. The problem is they have a listing 2 Quart as a single item. Ordering 2 Qty should get you 4 but they send 2 . Party spoliers. They have a listed phone that never works, always says the magic jack customer you called is...
