What seemed to be a simple fix turned into a bunch of children over talking me when I was just trying to explain how I usually get my drink. Not only that, no napkins, wrong straw, the drink was just poorly made (wrong from the start, no whipped cream no toppings) and I just wanted it remade. I did say that the staff was being condescending because they all seem to have attitudes Immediately when there was an issue (God forbid a customer makes a complaint at this establishment)... the girls standing behind the manager were shaking their heads smiling and giggling in the back (check the cameras) while I was talking to the manager which was very uncomfortable and very unprofessional. And I get that there may be new workers and mistakes happen but giggling and acting immature towards the situation is uncalled for. And instead of the manager handling that situation she wanted to let me know that she thinks it's disrespectful that I said they were being condescending. As someone that's worked in customer service for 35 years, I would never speak to someone with a sly attitude, a smirk on my face, and act like I was being helpful but I really being condescending. Kindness goes a long way in the world. A simple I'm sorry, let me fix it, while I was in the drive-thru would have been great. I'm just happy to know that my 17-year-old would never treat someone the way I was just treated at this establishment. There's a difference between being honestly helpful and condescending. At the end of this I did get my drink remade but she was clearly upset that she had to do it. Again, I work customer service, I have no problem redoing things for customers to make them happy, that's my job. And it's so simple. Maybe they'll take this as a learning experience maybe not. I just wanted to give my review on my experience on Saturday July 1st drive-thru...
Read moreToday, September 8th, we arrived around 8am. We watched the delivery truck be unloaded as we waited. We got our food and coffee then headed to our favorite beach. While walking along the beach both my fiancé and myself started vomiting. We vomited cogulated coffee, the after taste was sour. We thought maybe it was a fluke, then suddenly both of us were bent over leaning against rocks & trees, vomiting the rest of the coffee as that was the only thing that came up.
I called and spoke to someone I believe they said their name was Natilie? I wasn't even calling out of malice, I wanted to inform them that their product made us sick. I was informed, "We had a delivery truck and have been using the product that was just delivered. It expires on September 21, 2023."
I tried to explain that we arrived before any new product was delivered and was met with a very condescending tone of, "I will go check the dates and make sure everything is up to standard. I do not know why our product would make you sick, if it is in date."
I became frustrated, said thank you and then hung up. Nice to know you do not believe your customers. Or even ha ING an ounce of worry in your voice for what happened to us. I am still sick at 3:41pm. You need to do better, but you're a corporation you don't care. A word of the wise, negative reviews go further than positive, people remember far more with negative feed back than positive. Try to...
Read moreI don't normally review chain restaurants, part of their whole appeal is the consistency and uniformity no matter where you are, so I've never really seen the point. This Dunkin' location, however, went so far above and beyond I had to take the time to give them 5 stars.
I recently ordered breakfast from this Dunkin' on DoorDash, but part of my meal had been substituted with an ingredient I'm allergic to. I called the store, not upset at all, but just to let them know what happened and see if I could get a replacement through DoorDash, or even just a refund. It happened to be the location's manager who answered my call, who said she wanted to make my order right and, in order to do so, drove across town to hand-deliver me a new breakfast sandwich. That gesture went so far beyond anything I'd hoped for and genuinely meant so much to me. She absolutely did not have to do what she did, but in doing so it showed me that this Dunkin' is managed by someone who genuinely cares about their customers. As someone with a number of dietary restrictions/allergies this seriously meant so much to me, and I had to leave this review both to show the store itself how immensely appreciative I am, as well as to let others know how much this location...
