Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Duluth

Brand new Duluth, MN location so I’ll update down the road if my experience is better next time.

I did the drive through, which seemed to be my mistake. The person taking my order had a strong accent and was speaking too fast for me to understand completely. I ended up ordering a family tenders deal that I didn’t really want because many things on the menu were discontinued, and I couldn’t understand the person taking the order.

Order was completed very quickly, so that was excellent. Got food home and realized they only gave me two ranch dips for 8 tenders, and one had already broken open. Also, only two thin napkins provided…for CHICKEN!

Disgusting. Dining room dirty, food and other’s crumbs on tables, garbage on floor, no one from restaurant cleaning up anything. Boxes stacked up to the ceiling—in the dining room and by drink dispenser. Had to reach into a cardboard box to get straws!! Bathroom had pee all over seat and floor, toilet paper on floor, toilet cleaner knocked over on floor, sink gross. People behind the counter Horribly rude, no greeting, bad attitude and why would you work with food with No hairnet?? The food: how can chicken cooked to order taste like it sat for 12 hours? Overcooked. Old grease taste. Fries cold. Biscuits were raw in the middle. Has to be the worst Popeyes I’ve ever visited. It is only as good as the people that work there and it’s obvious they are not there to help...

I went through the drive thru and I couldn't believe how rude the person was taking my order. I would ask questions and she would answer me as if I was bothering her. She ask me what kind of sauce I wanted and I stated can I have parmesan ranch? She abruptly said NO . Well excuse me for getting the sauce wrong. When my order was done and I went to the window luckily I didn't have the woman who took my order but another young man so that was good. I would have said something to her but I didn't want anyone to spit in my food.
