Called in an order for baked ziti. Since it is described on menu as being "smothered in cheese," I asked lady if it was a "LOT" of cheese. She said that it definitelyy was (thinking that's what I wanted to hear). I then let her know I don't like much cheese and asked to get the ziti, light on the cheese. She then started backtracking and stuttering saying "the way it comes should be fine. It's not that much actually," really trying to get me not to modify this dish. I agreed (shldnt have) to get the reg portion of cheese. When I arrived 20 min later (they said it wld take 10-15 min) it still wasn't ready. It was another 12 min before I got my food. I looked at it before I left and she saw my disappointment but rushed away so as not to have to help me. It was wayy too cheesy, tho she had assured me it wouldn't be. I took it home and easily took off the top layer of mozz (shldnt have been that easy to do - for someone else that may like cheese it deff wasn't melted into it) and the ziti underneath was very mediocre n overly onion flavored. In addition, portion size was small compared to other ziti-selling pizza places in the area. Lastly, the salad that comes with it is free for a reason. I threw it out. Ridiculous excuse...
Read moreThis place seems less worthy of my business every visit. It was so hot in the restaurant that we were sweating and fanning ourselves. Garlic knots so tough and greasy that they are like tire rubber. Caprese salad so drenched in balsamic that its inedible. Waiter saw that we took 2 bites out of it and made sure we were done. Never asked how everything was. The works pizza looks and tastes like a glorified Tostinos supreme pizza, crust is kinda similar except the Tostitos crust has more color to it. My advice buy 3 Tostitos pizzas add a teaspoon of cheese to each and voila! A cheaper better version of this pizza 10/10 will not visit again. Whomever said this sauce(I would not dare call it a marinara) was like a new York sauce/gravy has either been paid to write that review or they just gave up on life and have settled...
Read moreThe food is awesome, but the service is weird. Felt like I was being rushed out the door why others could stay. I didn't do anything out of the ordinary but it was odd. Hope they aren't racist or anything. Maybe they were closing that's why I don't know. But the food males up for the odd service. I will buy there again but please smile and don't look like you hate being there. It gives mixed feelings. I work for a very high standard restaurant and it's always packed. You don't have to compete with businesses that are super busy. But how you carry yourself, food representation, service with a smile, suggestive selling, and inviting someone back helps. Being just a mom and pop place is not enough in this economy. Just at least look like you love life instead of seeming like your...
