We went through the drive thru, ordering went fine, but when I recieved the order, they forgot the sauces that they asked if I wanted. So not a big deal, I went in to ask for some the sauces. As I walked in the employee who handed me my food at the drive thru was exiting the front, i figure possibly on a break. There was no one at the front counter but employees in a back office with the door open, in the dining area who also went to the back office, and in the order prep area seen thru a doorway, but no one acknowledged that I was at the front counter. They all looked at me and went about their business. I figured they were busy so a gave them a few mins and figured they would be coming out to deliver orders to the few people standing waiting on orders and I'd ask them then, but nope. At least 5 or more mins went by, finally one employee stuck her head out the doorway for a split second asked if any of us were the online order for pick up and then quickly turned back around and went right back in the prep area. To be noted this restaurant does not have an open area where customers can easily communicate with the working employees if they are not at the front counter, they are back behind a locked area and you can just see them through a doorway, also you would have to speak very loudly for them to be able to hear you from that distance. My kids really wanted sauces for their chicken, and I only went through the drive thru for convenience. I had time, so I patiently waited for someone to come out. Finally, another employee came out and gave food to a coworkers friend or family member, cause this new family member/friend had just come in, was yelling to have a conversation with the person through the doorway, and food was readily avalible for them, but the few people who had already been in the lobby before I got the were still waiting. I was finally able to ask this male employee for some sauces and went on my way, but the lack of customer service at this restaurant is extremely poor we will not be stopping at this...
Read moreCame here with my 2 kids for the play place. After waiting at the counter for 20 min, while multiple employees are walking back and forth past me, even acknowledging that they see me, none stopped to help me. I finally gave up and used the kiosk, which didn't have all the customization options that we like for our food, which is something I already knew and why I wanted to be helped in person, but my kids were hungry, so I just did what I had to do for them. When we got our food, my son's burger was missing, so I went to let someone know. There was one person waiting to be helped and myself; a few minutes later, another person had come out from the play area for napkins. There was not a single napkin in any of the holders, so they joined me and the first person and waited to be helped. The 3 of us had waited for 35 minutes, again multiple employees walking back and forth in front of us and acknowledging us as we stood there but not stopping. I finally got fed up and literally had to ask the next person that walked by, "Can you really not see that we're waiting to be helped?!" Finally, I had gotten someone's attention, and the man came to the register and asked, "Hi, what do you want to buy?" I was already irritated, so I decided not to acknowledge his inconsiderate greeting and told him I needed my son's burger. He walked to the kitchen and then came back to tell me that they would remake it and then quickly turned around and tried to go back into the kitchen before attending to the other 2 people who were waiting. So I stopped him again and told him that he should maybe help them as well, and he did. After another 10 minutes, he brings my son's burger out; it's cold and has clearly been sitting around for a while, so I'm not sure what took 10 minutes, but I didn't have the patience to try and deal with any more than I already had. If it wasn't for the play place, I would never go back, but my kids love it. I love that they would rather play than be on screens; it's just too bad we couldn't also get...
Read moreHere comes a very detailed review: As a customer myself food often takes longer than expected. It should never be longer than 10 minutes at a drive through. After waiting food is usually lukewarm/cold which should NEVER happen after waiting for food. Not only that but restaurant is usually filthy.
Staff are often avoiding going up to the counter to assist a customer. I find myself making eye contact with employees and they abruptly go to the back or avoid it altogether. Seems like people are wanting money but to not work. Really disappointing. Customers need assistance especially if the self checkout kiosk is having issues. Management. there was one gentleman who was from a different store who was very kind, however, all of the experiences I have had with afternoon/nighttime managers has been terrible!
Here's my thoughts as someone who had an interview yesterday: I get there and wait almost 40 minutes after my scheduled time. During that time I noticed vehicles having long wait times even to the point they get out of their car and wait in the lobby. People even decide to take their orders to go rather than continue to sit in the lobby. God I wanted this interview to be over, I was really just looking for a part time to put more money into my investment accounts because why not?! This place needs a full blank slate refresh. During the interview when I shake the managers hand I noticed crumbs and stuff getting brushed off onto mine. Shows a lack of handwashing procedures. The interview was very abrupt and you could tell was not really planned for even though they said the time worked for them. To be sitting waiting and have that as the interview atleast I got a good story but I would not want to help this place. Suprised they are even allowed to stay open due to lack of food safety procedures being followed. My fiance and I laughed about the experience even though it was irritating but end of the day that's why we agreed the McDonalds in west duluth is the best and we will never...
