Sunny Ice Cream — Restaurant in Duluth

Cant really review because you can't actually get ice cream here. Waited for about 30 mins at the counter, hit the little buzzer 3-4 times throughout that period and no one ever bothered to come help. People in the back kitchen saw us but apparently didn't care. A line of people was behind me, we all gave up and left.

Also they make a big fuss about being high quality and whatnot, but I was looking around while I was bored waiting and the shelf behind the counter is filled with artificial flavoring syrup. The ube flavor that I was gonna try appears to just be flavored with this purple ube flavoring, huge cannister of it in the back. Doesn't seem to be serving anything special. I guess this is just an Instagram store with no staff.

The ice cream here is really good. They have a nice little bit of variety and have very good prices. They even have a killer deal with Kisoya for a short promotion where you get 50% off if you bring your Kisoya receipt. I loved the ice cream and thought it was a cute lil spot. It is a bit hard to find though. It's in the corner of the building right next to apartment gate. So it's easy to miss. The only downside is it may take a bit of effort to get someone to serve you as it seems to be a side shop for the restaurant they're connected to. This would be 5 star all day for me if someone was just there. Maybe they just need more customers regularly and they're good enough for it! Ring the bell or go seek out someone. Once you do, you'll be rewarded with good ice cream. So enjoy...

came in for a late night treat. The time was 12:23 they close at 1am. I saw no one there was at the counter. I read a sign that said ring if no ones there. After waiting for about 5-7mins. I walked over to the bar side to ask if anyone was working the ice cream side a young lady named Bree told me she would get someone to help me out in just a second so I went back over to wait patiently and after another five minutes passing I just decided to leave. I don’t think it’s a customers job to ever have to ask or request excessively for service if you don’t want to do it I would just appreciate you just saying you’re not serving at the moment instead of having me wait...
