We don't come here often since we live far away. My family decided to come here for my sister-in-law's birthday. My sister-in-law paid for another family's food since she was good friends with them. I decided to include their tip in my family's check, but the cashiers gave me a rude look as they saw their blank tip on the receipt, even though I told them it would be paid for on my bill. She didn't tell the family that she payed for their food, but the cashier informed them that the bill was paid for. So, the family came over to our table and thanked her. BTW, she did not tell the family that she paid for their food before the cashier did. We ate our food and another family recognized us. They decided to pay for our bill, without telling us beforehand as well. I went to the cashier to pay for my bill and the receipt was not in the register. The cashiers went in the back to bring the paid receipts and still charged us again. The two lady cashiers were aware that the bill was already paid for, yet decided to charge us again without informing us. The only reason we found out was that the family, who paid the bill for us, did not get a phone call thanking them from us. They felt something was wrong and went back to the restaurant to finally find out that they had charged me as well. I find it very unprofessional that we were the ones that had to go to the restaurant to get this fixed, when it shouldn't have happened in the first place. It was a waste of time for both me and the generous family that wanted to pay for our dinner. It makes both of us feel bad about the situation, even though it was no one but the cashier's' fault. I know that the cashiers were aware of the bill being paid off. For any restaurant that gets paid, they move the receipt to another space to not cause confusion with the ones that need to be paid off. Also, the waitress had an especially rude attitude when serving us. It is such a shame because the food was okay. Our family decided that it would not be worth going to again. Also when we asked for the owner or the manager, they said that the owner was not here and that they didn't have a manager. So, it was a horrible experience overall. P.S. the bill was around $100. This was not a...
Read moreIt's great food, very authentic - approved by Korean myself. The biggest problem for this place is that they are extremely busy during meal hours and they let too many patrons into the dining hall than their kitchen could handle. The result ends up being you getting the soup, but their heated stone bowl rice is not ready or vice versa. So here you are just sitting and watching your food get cold while waiting for the rest of foods you asked for. I wish they offered an option of just getting a regular bowl of rice for faster service especially during busy hours (rice cooked in stone bowl is supposed to be more fluffy and glossy but the soup should be the main entree not the rice). I've witnessed few tables just walking out from the past few visits because of the problem I just described above. I would say you will be very satisfied with the food and service if you avoid busy hours. Even during busy hours - don't get me wrong - you will get served, just inconveniently at the mercy of...
