Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Dumfries

I'll never eat at this location again. The food wasn't made properly. Regardless of the price ($16.45), you pay for your food to be done correctly. I paid for extra cheese because I'm aware of how PizzaHut skimps on their toppings, it's one reason I left this franchise alone. When I received my pizza, it was more bread, sauce, and olives than anything. I felt like I was eating a mouthful of bread with tomato sauce versus any cheese whatsoever. I contacted Customer Service and the Representative online was quick and efficient. They gave me a free pizza to replace my order. However, I never received confirmation for this in an email nor through a phone number, etc. I let a few days go by before contacting Customer Service via email about the free pizza. They pushed my complaint and situation to the person who manages the branch location. They replied via email with a simple thank you for telling us about the atmosphere and food service. I requested an update politely.. twice.. and never received any information regarding my situation.

It wouldn't be so bad had they done their job properly to begin with and if they actually knew how to return emails/calls. Again, I know it's "just" $16.45 but money is money. It doesn't grow on trees. When we want our favorite type of dinner and decide to go to Pizza Hut or any other franchise, the least we expect is for the food to be done correctly. It's honestly bothersome when it goes wrong after a long day or week and you're ready for that hot cheesy pizza to hit your tastebuds. Pizza Hut...

I wish I could give them a zero star but I can’t. So first I did a delivery order while having a party the pizza never came so I call them to see how long they was going be. They said the driver should be there soon and then I get a call back asking me did I get my food. the driver some reason had turn around and never went back to the store or even bring me my food and I had used my card. So I call they said they would send it back out but by the time they would have got here it would have been like 10 clock. So I said no thank u just credit it back to my card they did that and put a free pizza on my coupon part . Then today I went to go get my kids there book reward pizza and the manager as he say he was had a nasty attitude I try telling him that bc of the what happen before outside there business I don’t like bringing my kids over there. He go he don’t care he couldn’t do it with an attitude. Then I was like I am still going order but could I talk to another manager bc he had a nasty attitude so I started making his attitude. Sweet young lady came over to try to figure out what was going on. Brian was like no y’all come on so I still didn’t get to order bc he made them leave from counter and when other people came in that’s when one of the worker came to help them. My husband and I have ordered from this specific Pizza Hut a number of times since they opened this location. We've had a couple of issues in the past (i.e late delivery and missing items) but this most recent experience takes the cake.

To give some context, we placed an order on 2/17 for a pizza and a 4 pack of sodas. Delivery was being done through Doordash and we ended up not getting our sodas. We called the dasher who informed us the restaurant only gave them the pizza so we ended up calling the restaurant to which they were more than kind enough to give us a credit on the account.

Fast forward, we decided to try and use the credit so my husband calls in to ask about the credit and try to place an order. The employee on the phone let us know that we would have to pay a difference, which is fine, but since we were short we decided not to place the order. The employee then says "I'm busy" rushes my husband off of the phone and just hangs up right after my husband said we can't place it now but thanked him for helping us to understand credit situation.

We really like pizza hut and are happy they have a location closer to us! I understand that it was a Friday night and the place was busy (from what the employee said) but that does not excuse the rude behavior this employee displayed.
