I know these guys just started, but first impression counts. Especially when I'm hungry and spend hard earned money.
The food is horrible. I ordered for takeout and ended up throwing away half a tray of chicken tikka and half a tray of veggie birianni. There was no taste to either. It was as if they just defrosted cooked chicken and then dumped it into the watery sauce. The rice was just dry and didn't seem like it was cooked properly.
This is not an authentic experience. For that go to Jersey City (Newark Ave). The one thing I hate is when people connected to any business place misleading reviews to get others to spend their money then only to find out it wasn't worth it. I'm just tired of places like this that give a bad name to Indian food. I'm just a foodie like anyone else looking for something new and interesting. Also, I'm a Desi, so I know what real Indian food should taste like....

I ordered food for my family visiting over, for about 6 people. Neither the biriyani tasted like a real biriyani and the chicken tikka was just plain disgusting with absolutely no flavor. The meat was not cooked well with the tikka, and was bland to say the least. We paid good money for it as well with all of us left mostly hungry for the night. I know these guys are new in town but to think they can get away with horrible tasting food that can almost make you feel sick is unacceptable. Their northern Indian dishes are average and not prepared as traditionally pleasing as some other places who do specialize in northern Indian mughal delicacies.
Since they are owned by a chef/owner from the Southern Indian state of Kerala, they do justice to these regional dishes for the most part.
