I previously posted about this Chinese take out spot that has a menu section with American comfort food.

I was highly impressed with the quality of their non-Chinese plates that I wanted to explore other options.

The hot, crispy wings are smothered in buffalo sauce. As always, blue cheese is the perfect dipping sauce for this starter.

If you are indecisive between a burger or pizza slice, why not have the best of both worlds.

The large, juicy patty will put the leading fast food burger chain to shame!

This tasty hero sandwich was packed with meatballs mixed in with marinara sauce and melted mozzarella cheese.

When I explored this sandwich, I instantly knew I was not in Philadelphia. The protein was too similar to pepper steak and the onions were not sauteed.

Although I highly recommend their other sandwiches, I regretfully cannot vouch for this one.

Hot and crispy fries are included with their burgers and hero sandwiches.

On a constructive note, the linguini was bland and watery and I was unable to finish it.

However, the main course was to die for! This dinner included three thin, crispy cutlets stacked on top of each other. There was a perfect ratio of golden brown mozzarella cheese and sauce.

For the most part, it was a great dining experience chowing down with American comfort food from a Chinese spot! It was also unique that the food was packaged with Chinese containers and bags.

4.5 stars. I lived in New Milford in Brookchester for a couple of years (2006-2008) and ordered from them consistently. Whenever I called, they knew my address on S. Plympton as soon as I started to say the apartment # (they did not have a computer back then). I tried most of their American/Italian menu and was never disappointed, especially for the price (3 lobster tails for $18?! And yes, they are delicious!). I genuinely miss this spot whenever I can’t get to it for a while. And every time I come back, it’s as good as it’s always been. Shrimp egg foo young is out of this world!! Shrimp and broccoli as well! General Tso’s, fried dumplings, noodles, boneless ribs, fried chicken, beef or chicken skewers, soups, egg rolls…it’s all so delicious and fresh. Rice is always fluffy. The sauces are silky and well seasoned and they never skimp on ingredients. This is not one of those places where they’ll short you on proteins.
