Italian Connection Pizza — Restaurant in Dumont

They do have good pizzas, but if you are ordering for a large group, navigating to their online order is not friendly at all. Very difficult to order multiple pizzas, especially if you plan to customize some. They do have cauliflower pizza, but ordering online does not give you an option on flavors or toppings. They even do not have descriptions. such as size, how many slices, what is included, etc etc. Same with Pastas and main dishes - no descriptions! sometimes even we are familiar of italian menu, it is still nice to confirm it with the descriptions. How will I know what is in the "works Pizza"??? if nothing is listed whats in it!!! so Online order is not a good option, then we go to our next option is to call - which the owner "john" lacks customer service. He has no time to answer questions and no patience in helping you navigate or figure out what I need to order!!! Remember, I am ordering for a large group of people (not a usual family order). he says - call me back if you know what to order.. which to begin with, we are having problems on their online menu BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO DESCRIPTIONS! I need details like number of slices, size, etc so that I know how many pizzas to order. The Pasta- i need a catering or half tray option, which they do have a catering tab on their website but no catering menu! We love to order online since I find it easier, provided the website is also customer friendly! John, the owner, said - They are busy and he has " NO TIME" . and when I provided a friendly comment, we are having problems with the online menu - he just responded " im the only one who said that", well... You check it out! But if this owner is not willing to take customer comments - he is not willing to make improvement on his business. He needs to adapt and hire a person to help him fix his website!!! We End up ordering to a different place. Customer service is important! Remember their menu is nothing special and their are other places that is equivalent good too. a Local business matters much with great service, which differs them...

Extremely disappointed. My job wanted to place 2 separate orders, one to be paid by cash and the other to be paid by credit card. We were told we cannot do this. So we placed the cash order over the phone, the credit card order through the website. Based off the menu we had (which was given to us last year) the cash total was to be only around $14. They gave us a total of almost $24. We called to ask about this, and they said the menu was out-dated. When the food arrived, the cash payment was given but we were told it was even higher than what we were told over the phone. When we looked over everything, they only delivered the credit card order and had us pay for that. The cash order was never delivered and they took our cash for nothing. When we called back, they told us they assumed we cancelled the cash order based on an earlier call when asking about the price increase. At that point, whoever we were speaking to was giving us attitude, so we told them that the order was definitely cancelled and we wanted the driver to return with the money that was taken from us. If I can give them zero stars I would. Never ordering from them again. We placed two orders and only one got delivered. The order that got delivered was paid for with a credit card but yet the delivery driver told us that we owe the money. So we paid him not realizing it was the credit card one because we also placed an order for cash so we thought it was the cash order that we owed but it turns out it was the credit card order that was already paid and that the delivery driver charged again and was paid cash. Called the restaurant and spoke to the manager to tell them that the delivery driver needs to come back with that cash and I also asked where the second order is. They told me there was a miscommunication and the owner thought we had cancelled the cash order because we complained about the price because the prices were different from our menu.
