Ohana's Shaved Ice — Restaurant in Duncan

I drive down Main st. in Duncan every day. I watch as things move in and out of our town. I was so anxious to see what would appear on this little corner lot being cleared and cared for by a family. I was so excited to find a shaved ice stand as the result! Enrique and his family have created an excellent and warm environment for everyone to enjoy. He is so welcoming and has truly grown to be a friend. Enrique and his family have set up a place for families and friends to gather together and have a good time, while enjoying one of life's most simple pleasures, flavored shaved ice. If you haven't stopped by Ohana's for a shaved ice, you're missing out on more than just great flavors directly from Hawaii, you're missing a chance to build a new relationship and support a great family owned business. I drive by here a few times a week and haven’t stopped until tonight. I’m so glad I did. I haven’t had better costumer service in ages… maybe ever. The employees were polite and helpful. They offered samples, input, and were friendly. I am not a huge shaved iced person, but really enjoyed the option to add cream. They brought our shaved ices to us on a cute wooden surf board and offered to add syrup or make us a different one if we didn’t like ours.

The ambiance is just super, super cute. I didn’t feel like I was in Duncan.

Please support this place. We need more places like this is the area and they are doing everything right. The only downside of the experience was that I couldn’t talk my husband into sitting in the big chair so I could take...

Ohana’s is the type of place you go for the first time and instantly know that you’ll be back again and again. The shaved ice is fantastic, the atmosphere is amazing, and the owner is full of hospitality and kindness. He made us feel like we were old friends. While the girls enjoyed their shaved ice, he brought my husband and I coffee as we talked and laughed for 30 minutes. This place will give you that small town feeling that is missing from so many places of business nowadays. I would recommend Ohana’s to everyone. They sure have made lifelong customers out...
