I just moved to the neighborhood and decided to get something to eat at my neighborhood Churches location. I went through the drive thru and ordered a two piece dark and a small mashed potatoes. I asked the girl working the window for some ketchup and a honey. She tells me because I didn’t order any fries she can’t give me ketchup. I said I have chicken though and she sarcastically tells me “but you don’t have fries” WHO TOLD THIS GIRL OR RESTAURANT THAT KETCHUP IS ONLY MADE FOR FRIES??? I have to eat my chicken dry because I didn’t order fries!! That’s insane and something I’ve never heard before in my life. If that wasn’t enough, I go back for the honey and she tells me they don’t have honey. I just felt like anything I asked for at this point she was going to deny. So I drove off and called the store back to talk to the manager and a guy answered the phone and said they don’t have a manager on duty. I’ve never heard of a restaurant running without any leadership. This place is awful in customer service and I will NEVER GO BACK!!! I don’t understand why this girl is denying customers ketchup. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IVE EVER RECEIVED. They only have one star cause it forced me to put a star but they deserve...
Read moreChurch’s Chicken on Camp Wisdom. After a long day at work yesterday, I stopped by the Church’s Chicken in Camp Wisdom, near Main St. and I-20, to pick up a quick dinner. I was handing my card over to the window attendant who wore his mask on his chin. I sat in a bit of shock as I saw that the four young men either wore their mask on their chin or pulled down far off their nose; while a young lady worked with the food without a mask on. I asked the attendant to cancel my order. After having lost my father to COVID, my heart broke as I saw what our near future looks like and what the exposure will be to our friends and family. This is a week before the mandate ends. This is not the time to let our guard down. Please please please do not go to this Church’s Chicken and risk exposure. The workers seem to not feel the personal responsibility to do their part during...
Read moreI recently went to Church's Chicken as I often do when I'm at home in Texas. I have always ordered 2 wings, 2 jalapeño peppers & 2 apple pies w/ the glaze on 'em. Ever since I was about 13 or so, their chicken wings always had the front half portion of the chicken breast attached to the wing. It's always been what set them apart. Perfect for me, I never seem to be able to finish a whole breast anyway. Well....they no longer do that. I received 2 measly chicken wings. I also went to another Church's just to see if it was just the 1st store I went to, it wasn't. Talk about being disappointed 😫 needless to say, I won't be going back to Church's. I'm sorry I don't have any pics, I threw...
