This has to be the most unprofessional business I've tried. I was led there by a review on ticktock although they warned the customer service was terrible the food was great. Well I can only testify to one of those points. First time Coming in my husband ordered a salad with chicken and a fish basket with chz fires. While inquiring what all comes in the salad the lady was very rude and annoyed Clearly the young lady didn't know the menu herself because instead of offering us the salad that includes chicken she charged a chef salad and charged an extra $4.50 to add ck. They also had no upcharge available to get chz fires with the fish basket. But only opt to by separately. After my husband paid we noticed the menu showed a different price rather than what the lady charged us pointing this out to her she yelled to a guy in the back preparing the food if she can cancel and recharge the correct price in which he said no and rudely implied we should've known what to order. As we wait we noticed not only everyone prior has received their food but new customers that placed their orders after us. It took us to be the only ones remaining in the restaurant to realize it has been 45mins since we placed our order for a salad and fish plate. When I asked what was taking so long it was only then the guy in the back seem to noticed Our order in which the cashier responded your fish is ready we are just waiting on the salad. I responded how is it possible that a fish plate is ready before a salad? so now I'm supposed to eat cold fish? At this point I told them I wanted a refund. Turns out The guy she had been yelling to and who is also finally making our food is the manager. He pretended not hear her or the discussion in regards to why our order was not ready nor ever apologized for the delay instead finally when she approached him and told him directly, his response was we don't do refunds your order will be ready in 15mins I replied well you didn't provide a service and you expect me to wait an hour for a salad and pay for cold fish. Instead of going back and forth I left out of their establishment and encouraged my husband to dispute the charge. In regards to how the food taste i can't say because I never received my order but I refuse to pay for any service that is led by rude customer service and unprofessionalism. these new owners need a class in customer service rather than assuming a product alone will maintain a successful business. Read moreI'll start out saying that I only do reviews unless they are exceptionally great or bad to the point it's worth warning others. This so happens to be the latter.
I came to this place a few years ago and had food that was above average, but not great, but the service was very slow. Before this occurance, I came here at least 3 times to give them chances. Each time I ordered something different with essentially the same results. Above average, with a long wait time. So I decided not to go there anymore.
Fast forward a few years after moving. I'm staying at a hotel nearby and I get hungry and realize the coaches box is close. So I say it's been a few years, hopefully they've gotten better. I went up there to order, spoke with the lady who was taking my order and she took the time to answer my questions as there was no one else behind me. I might have take 5 total minutes to order. There is literally 1 table seated in the restaurant and a total of 2 call in orders and after patiently waiting over 30 minutes and seeing someone else leave that wasn't there when I got there, I did the natural thing and asked how much longer it would be. The lady informed me that the other person was a call in and that he (the owner) and was working on mine. I said ok, cool, but the owner overhears me asking and was like "What's up?". I'm like, no I was just asking her about the time on the order, but I'm good. He responds loudly, oh well you took 30 minutes to place an order so that's why you waiting so long. The lady looks at him like you know you wrong and he was like naw, he took a long time. I said I oh so you thought I took that long, he was like yea you took long, so I told the lady that I'm going to save him some time and give me my money back. She came over and refunded me and he didn't say anything else. I hope he enjoyed those 10 wings I ordered that took so long.
My thing is, if you're slow, and well known to be slow, don't get mad when someone tries to call you out about it. Own up to it and get better. And I also don't understand all these rave reviews, unless the taste has gotten much better in my years of not going. I guess...
Read moreThis was not my first time ordering food from Coaches Box. My first experience was amazing. I travel at least 30 to about 40 minutes to go to Coaches Box. Unfortunately today I order a turkey burger basket which comes with the burger 🍔 and fries 🍟 which I asked if I could get a small salad 🥗 instead of the fries I was told yes but that would be an extra charge. So I stated no thanks just go ahead and give me the fries 🍟. I also order my husband a Three piece fish 🐟 basket with the fries 🍟 and small salad 🥗. As I received my order I checked the order before leaving and noticed that the fries 🍟 didn't look freshly cooked as I was talking to the cashier she just walked off like I wasn't talking to her but the second young lady heard the conversation and tried to address the concern when the third lady who was washing dishes stated that the fries were fresh and that they cook everything to order. I asked all three ladies to take a look at the fries 🍟 which they refused to do so. I stated either cook me some fresh fries or give me my money 💰 back the third lady said that they don't give refund. I stated then cook me some more fries. The second lady said that she would do that why the third lady continue to talk about what they don't do. I told the second lady that she knew the meaning of customer service and how to treat people. The owner finally came over to me and stated that the first young lady told him what happened and he constantly keep saying that he cook the fries 🍟 fresh himself, so I asked him to take a look at the fries 🍟 he refused. But the second lady made the order right but I will not be returning. Not only did I spend my money 💰 I travel out my way to get there and to be treated like I did something wrong🤔.
