Dairy Queen (Treat) — Restaurant in Dundee Township

The last several times my wife and I have come to this location our experiences have been very disappointing. Our Blizzards have lacked toppings, the employees have been rude, rushed or extremely slow. I kept giving them another chance because I know everyone has bad days. We just went last night on 7/2. We gave our order at the drive thru, then the employee never repeated the order back to us, or even told us to pull around, my order ended with silence. After waiting for for a couple minutes for a response I pulled up to the window anyway. Inside I can see a Male employee sitting on a counter using his cell phone. I waited at the window another 3 minutes before anyone even opened the window to acknowledge us or take our payment. When the Manager finally opens the window and I pay, my Blizzard is given to me with no lid, why would I want to transport this with no lid in my car? I ask for a lid and the manager was clearly frustrated. Upon getting home, I realized that my Blizzard is not the Reese's Brownie Royal that I ordered, instead it was chocolate brownie with chocolate chips and fudge. Way too much chocolate for me. We live in Pingree Grove so driving the 10+ mins to go back wasnt worth it, but I will never go to this location again. This was their last chance for me. It is absolutely terrible. I will drive the extra 5 mins to either West Dundee or McClean/Big Timber locations...

Was 7th in line around 8:20, service was soooo slow that after 40 mins in line, the person in front of me and I didn’t get served after waiting all that time because it was almost 9pm and a male employee came out at 8:59 to tell the person that was about to order and us who were up next to order that they couldn’t serve us anymore because they close at 9. There were also about 5 cars behind us also waiting that were all told we couldn’t be served. I understand when a place has to close but normally you would come out and warn ppl ahead of time instead of wasting everyone’s time up until last minute. So rude, Dairy Queen you lost long time customers because of your rude and clearly lazy employees. I hope others read this and realize that customer service at this Dairy Queen is disrespectful and you’re just a number...

HORRENDOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I ordered a large chocolate ice cream blizzard with Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. Later that night after I got home I realized that they made a chocolate ice cream blizzard with peanut butter (no Reese’s). I drive 15 minutes back to the store and told the girl who was working the drive through what happened. She proceeded to pick through my blizzard and said, “Well, I do see some Reese’s”. I was shocked!!! And THEN SHE SAID, “If I remake it I will have to charge you for some of it”!!! The worst customer service!!! They never have a manager working. Only teenagers.
