La Mariskera Kitchen & Bar — Restaurant in Dundee Township

My family and I went to this restaurant, on Sunday for Father’s Day. There was only a couple tables taken, so it wasn’t really busy. We put in our order in for dine in. And the food took an hour. The server never went and told us that food was going to be awhile or anything. I had to get her attention to as how long our food was going to be. And it was 5 of us and 4 of us ordered shrimp cocktail, and the other person ordered a sope. Which I still don’t understand how our food took an hour. And when it was time to pay, I told the server that they took forever to get out and the $25 dollars for tip was unfair. When she didn’t gave us the right service. All she said “it’s not our fault the kitchen took forever all I do is take care of the tables” and she slammed our debit card...

One of the worst experiences... this place has been good. Today I will rate it a 1. Come in and order and given a heads up only 1 cook. Said ok I'll order and come back. They said about 40 mnts. Came back 45mnts. Then told AR least another 15... yet they sure were able to service several dine in people. Then I come back And had to wait longer because they forgot part of order... really. Took my food back as I ordered without lettuce. I look nuts as no longer see lettuce and they think I'm nuts. Get back home and what do I find deep in my burrito as i eat, lettuce lettuce aND...

I’ve been meaning to post this but um..... someone did a killer makeover at Taqueria Los Cocos in East Dundee and turned it into something pretty spectacular!! 😍 Introducing La Mariskera Kitchen & Bar!! ❤️ It’s beautiful! It’s clean and well lit! They added a variety of tequila (if you know me you know I’ll be avoiding that area of the menu 😂 I’ve met my quota for bad decisions this year!! 🤦🏻‍♀️) and they added a ton of seafood to the existing menu options. Ohhh and surprise, they kept on some of the same staff- including the cook so uh...NOM NOM NOM! Seriously, go...
