Some feedback. I refuse to blame the employees for how this location operates. Instead I’m blaming the leadership/management. Figure out a process for your employees to work, having 3 of them all do the same job is not a process. If there was more organization behind the counter, I wouldn’t choose to drive to carpentersville to get my drinks now. I shouldn’t be in line for 25-30 minutes simply because of the poor training provided by the management of this location. Give your employees some help, figure out a smooth process and don’t have them all doing the same thing. That just causes them to trip over each other and have to wait til one is done. I was beyond excited for this location to open but they need to significantly fix how they operate. Also after reading these reviews about the manager, it makes sense that this location is the way it is. I’ve never dealt with the manager individually but I’ve been there 4 times now and have waited over 25 minutes each time. That is a management/leadership not providing processes or proper training for their employees. Do better management. Read moreI was quite surprised to see so many of the people employed saying how well of a manager they have at this location, because that is simply not my experience, but it is quite telling that they thought to do damage control to cover up the more negative reviews about the manager. I have personally never seen that in the reviews of other companies, as the customer’s experience would speak for itself. Because honestly, why would you even need employee testimonials if the experience from customers themselves didn’t hold any weight? I personally saw the manager being quite rude to her visibly young and nervous looking employees, and while I don’t have children myself, if I knew my child was being spoken to in such a way I would have a serious problem with it. Anyway we were looking at the menu they had prompted on the screen above the cashier n had made our choice I go to ask the cashier that I would like the match drink that’s on screen and she proceeded to ask me what kind of matcha drink and of course I responded with “the one on the screen listed” and she looked at me as if I was dumb and said “yeah but what kind of match drink”. I had no idea they had more flavors and I even let the cashier know that I don’t know about these drinks but it seemed good and I wanted the one on screen but then again she kept trying to explain to me that are flavors and that I had to choose I got annoyed and said “you pick”.
