We had breakfast here as a family. Our kids loved their meals (kids chocolate chip pancakes, crepes, and an omelet). My husband got the Espanol skillet. He loved that it came with a half size of biscuits & gravy; he usually gets a side of that. He enjoyed the skillet but the pepper was whole - he prefers sliced so he doesn't have to cut it. I had a Veggie omelet. It was fine but nothing special. The first several bites, I thought they forgot the cheese. The hash browns were super crispy with not much flavor and the toast was too hard/burnt. My youngest son and I shared a single crepe with strawberries, bananas and chocolate chips. It was good and they were generous with the fresh fruit. Our daughter had a hot raspberry tea. She tried putting creamer in it (she likes it that way at home) and it curdled in the mug which doesn't happen at home. We asked for a new one. The waitress brought it, but brought us a second mug showing us even the milk curdled in the tea... I understand her experiment (to see if the creamer was bad) but it seemed a little petty. She took the time to do that but my husband had to remind her to bring his diet coke, she brought the wrong refill for my son, and we waited significantly long for our check and a box at the end of our meal. It was also a long time before we were offered a refill on coffee. The busser did a great job clearing our plates. For a small diner-type place with a lot of staff the service was not what I'd have expected. I wasn't blown away by anything; it was just okay. We probably won't be back.

New breakfast joint in Elgin. Decided to stop in today and give it a try. The restaurant is clean and larger inside than appears from outside. Staff were very friendly. There are plenty of breakfast and lunch options in the menu. Some unique drink options like blueberry bliss smoothie and fresh squeezed orange juice. The blueberry bliss smoothie was filled with plenty of fruit. The kids have a few different options for entrees in the kids' section of the menu. The Irish bennidict was delicious and full of flavor. Hash browns cooked to perfection. The one egg kids entree was plenty big for an older child to eat. Bacon cooked to my chewy preference as requested. Pancakes were fluffy and soft on the tongue with plenty of flavor. It's definitely a place to stop in for good eats if you're in the area. I'll be coming back again soon for sure.

We were initially told to wait 15 minutes, but we got a table in just 5. The food was good overall. We ordered a hot pumpkin spice latte, which was decent but not as good as Starbucks and a bit cold. I also had avocado toast without eggs or meat since I'm vegetarian. It was filling but lacked flavor. My companions tried the Nutella strawberry waffle, which was crispy and enjoyable. We also ordered a cappuccino, but it cooled down quickly. When we asked the staff to reheat it, they offered us a fresh one instead. Overall, it was a good experience—a quick breakfast spot. Waffle (10/10) Avocado toast (9/10) Pumpkin spice latte (8/10) Fries(9/10) Some skillet (idk the name) Total - $71 + tip

I was here with a friend this week on Monday morning for breakfast. The place was very clean, the staff was warm and welcoming. I had the breakfast tostados. They were delicious with fresh avocado slices and tasty moist chicken. I asked for crispy hash browns and they were exactly what I hoped they would be. The cook/chef came out and said they had some problems with the potatoes in the last few weeks but mine were from a new batch and I loved them. My friend had the triple berry waffles. She loved them. Both were served hot and promptly. There were only a few people there which is to be expected on a Monday. I'd go back again for sure.
