We had breakfast here as a family. Our kids loved their meals (kids chocolate chip pancakes, crepes, and an omelet). My husband got the Espanol skillet. He loved that it came with a half size of biscuits & gravy; he usually gets a side of that. He enjoyed the skillet but the pepper was whole - he prefers sliced so he doesn't have to cut it. I had a Veggie omelet. It was fine but nothing special. The first several bites, I thought they forgot the cheese. The hash browns were super crispy with not much flavor and the toast was too hard/burnt. My youngest son and I shared a single crepe with strawberries, bananas and chocolate chips. It was good and they were generous with the fresh fruit. Our daughter had a hot raspberry tea. She tried putting creamer in it (she likes it that way at home) and it curdled in the mug which doesn't happen at home. We asked for a new one. The waitress brought it, but brought us a second mug showing us even the milk curdled in the tea... I understand her experiment (to see if the creamer was bad) but it seemed a little petty. She took the time to do that but my husband had to remind her to bring his diet coke, she brought the wrong refill for my son, and we waited significantly long for our check and a box at the end of our meal. It was also a long time before we were offered a refill on coffee. The busser did a great job clearing our plates. Read moreI must share my experience period Triple Berry Cafe. I have never had a bad experience. On Saturday July 27th it wasn't the best experience with the cook. my server Genesis was simply amazing!!! she needs to teach a customer service class.her customer service skills on a scale from 1 to 10 is a 20!!! she is a server second to none! Genesis took our order. we had a few specific orders... that was not followed by the cook. Genesis Express the concern for her customer but, the cook gave her push back! she was very professional...even though she was frustrated she spoke with the manager on duty and asked if he could solve the issue to try to deescalate. she had to go back once again and I the cook got frustrated because we heard him yelling and she said something back and she walked away and came and apologized to no end. EDIT We have in fact returned, many times. This past Sunday, it was VERY CROWDED. (9/21.25) we noticed two people doing all the work and a wonderful hostess greeting, seating and checking customers out. In speaking to our server, I asked if he was the owner. In fact, he was/is. He explained they were short handed and his brother in law came to help. The hostess is new (two weeks, and with the way he spoke to her so patiently, she will be great) He could not have been over, I noticed he took time to speak to everyone, didn’t rush, didn’t seem fazed at all. He thanked us multiple times. The place had NO OPEN SEATS! And NO ONE COMPLAINED! Service was top notch despite being short staffed. Please support your local businesses.
