Barn Door Brewing — Restaurant in Dundee

Guy working tonight was a complete jerk! We walked in while on a wine event tour. We had empty cups of our souvenir glasses that we had drank out of on hand. A bag with a closed bottle of wine in it. The bartender right away says in a condescending voice “no wine in here that’s a no no” as if we were kids! All while everyone in the place was watching us. I am sorry is this an alcohol environment? Could have been more polite with a response such as “thank you for stopping in, please put your empty glasses away please per policy” Mind you we were confused as there was a brewery on our event route. I love beer and for sure will not be stopping by here when in Dundee. Customer service sure is lacking in...

I agree with the reviewer who said the beer is ok, nothing special. EVERY place I have gone to that has alcohol gets 5 stars from every customer. Obviously most people just want alcohol. Is every bar awesome? Best service ever? Best beer? NO. But most people don't have high expectations or standards and will drink just about anything because it is time with their friends and they want to fit in.

I tried several beers. Was not super impressed, but not put off either. It is very average, run of the mill, nothing special. The beer is the same you will find at any other bar in any city. Nothing unique here.

The owners are amazing and have the best staff ever. Very professional and welcoming to everyone that walks through the door. Not to mention the beer is fantastic!! Slow Heat with a splash of Clamato! Hazy IPA, Matcha IPA, an amazing Lager. Something for everyone! I was in the brewery when Thelma and her friend came in, Thelma is correct that her glass was empty, however, her friends was not. Barn Door Brewery was not made aware of the Thursday events but certainly will be ready once they get added to the map she referred to.
