Dodge's Southern Style — Restaurant in Dunedin

I couldn't find sugar & was told "right in front of your face" from an EMPLOYEE on 4/11 @ 6:15am (employee was a man wearing glasses). Not to mention when I found the sugar, they were out of powdered creamer. I was then told "it shouldn't be" - that is when the rude man said "is there anything else you would like to tell us we are doing wrong?" I replied "I didn't say anything about doing something wrong". Not customer centric at all, very rude and unhelpful. Furthermore, I was going buy breakfast sandwiches there but after the way I was treated I was not about to spend another minute nor dollar there. While outside sipping my warm not so hot coffee an employee was leaving and I asked "was that the manager" (the one that was rude) and the other lady said "no" and I said "wow"' I guess there is ZERO customer assistance as my experience was nothing but the worst I've encountered especially when we should be grateful for waking up this morning. Thank you so much for addressing the public health crisis and helping to protect yourselves and customers from the spread of covid19. I came in today and was so delighted and relieved to see an employee posting signs enforcing the indoor face mask policy currently in place in our county. Thank you for the social distance stickers, the always friendly and kind service, and for caring about face masks inside your store. I wish more stores in our area would take the extra step to keep customers and staff safe. I sent an email to Dodge guest relations to give you guys a thumbs up on the new signage and for caring about the current health crisis. I have been forced to amend my review. What I wrote below was and is true. However, recently they have developed a bad habit, possibly to increase profits. They will list a lower price below an item and on the cooler door, then it rings up at a higher price at the register. When the discrepancy is pointed out to the asst. Manager, he refuses to charge the marked price. This is a clear violation of Florida advertising law. A genuinely great convience store. Generally, low prices and very nice atmosphere. Fast courteous, efficient, friendly and helpful service. Great product selection. Low drink prices in particular.
