Revising my 5 stars to 3 stars due to recent experience.
Dear Grant Wells,
I've been a longtime fan of CFA (CFA One Signature Member), a resident of Dunwoody since 2011, and a fan of your location since 2020 when I migrated to your location after the Perimeter Pointe experienced a prolonged shutdown. In the 5 years that I've frequented your location, I've spoken highly of my experience with others and have enjoyed my interactions with the various staff that have come and gone.
Lately, I've had a few bad experiences and today was the tipping point for me. Specifically, it is over the $2 ice cream cone prepared by 2 of your staff. $2 is such an insignificant item but the way I felt I was treated left a lasting impression that I'm writing to you 3 hours after my visit.
A few days ago, I had ordered 3 ice cream cones and when I was handed the first cone I had thought it was small. I asked the lady at the drive thru window if they could make it any bigger. She looked back at another lady that had made the cone, exchanged some comments, and then turned to tell me that's the only way they can make it. I was unhappy but took the 3 cones (one for each person in my family) and left. Today, I went to CFA to order 3 ice cream cones again. Again, it was the same two ladies. And today, she gave me an even smaller cone. And again, I asked if they could make it any bigger. She turned to the lady making the ice cream, exchanged some comments, and turned to me and said something to the effect of - This is all we can do. Do you still want it? I was extremely upset that I just drove off without the cones. My wife said we should at least take the small cones since we paid for it. Therefore, I walked into the store to talk to a manager. He was extremely polite and offered to remake my cones himself. The cones that he made were great. A consistent cone size and a service-oriented attitude was what I wanted.
I'm disappointed in how your staff treated me. I'm pleased with how the manager handled the situation. After today's event, I will be taking a break from your CFA because I don't want to interact with those two individuals again. I hope that when I return in the future, I would be able to enjoy the top notch service that CFA...
Read moreI always enjoy Chick Fila & they give great service however on 7/10/20 @ 6:45 p.m. . I got in line around 6:15 p.m. & I ordered a number 1 meal with a ice cream dream. It was a busy day for chick fila so I can understand that but when I received my food there was no apologies for the delay or thank you for your patience. Instead I was greeted as ma'am so I laughed but it told me that maybe the orders might have been mixed up. When the drive thru employee told me the price then I knew it was the right one. My food was given to me & I said have a good dy but after I drove away I realized I was missing the ice cream in cup. Now I was in a rush because I had a patient to see & I waited so long I was trying to hurry to my next appointment. I came back & I went in & waited another 3-4 minutes to talk with Manager. I informed the Manager what happened & that I was upset that this item was missed after waiting 30 minutes for the food. I asked for a gift card or coupon because I don't live close to that area so that I could come back for any replacements. The Manager stated that he did not have any coupons or gift card & he could offer me fries for the inconvenience. I then asked for the store Manager & he gave me the name. Iasked if there was anything else he could do for me & he stated no. He then went to get the ice cream & some more minutes passed & I could see bags of milk for the machine. I then heard him talking with his staff that this is not his his responsibility to monito this station & if the need help they should have it taken care of. He then came back to me & said that it will take 3-4 minutes for the ice cream to be ready. By the time he came back to tell me that I had already asked for the money to be refunded with cash. I then left upset & disappointed with the lack of customer service. I will be calling customer service to let them know what I went through. I hope they will make changes that will help to correct situations like this. Thanks...
Read moreGave us lukewarm nuggets and fries with the fries being soggy and not even fully cooked. The 30 nuggets were weren’t extra crispy like we asked and again lukewarm and soggy. The lady gave us attitude about this when we asked for a replacement, we ate 3 of the nuggets and a couple of the fries. One of the fires was half full by the way. This location does do well done and even if they don’t the nuggets weren’t fresh which is different from well done. It was old barely warm food. Oh and same goes for the sandwich I ordered, I just ate that because I was very hungry but it was the same. Lukewarm and soggy and they didn’t put any pickles on even though I asked for extra extra pickles.
They gave us a 12 nugget replacement and some well done fries(these were too well done, just burnt really). They refused to give us the full 30 because we had ate some. We didn’t eat another 18, we ate 3 so we should have gotten 27. Never going back to this location again and am less likely to go to any chick fil a in the future. I will be doing a charge back with my credit card company for the full amount and contacting corporate about this.
Terrible food and even worse service. If they had made it right the first time, and I said well done extra crispy fresh in the mobile order, then there wouldn’t have even been an issue. I shouldn’t even have to specify that the it should be well done, I and no one else wants to eat lukewarm soggy unsalted fries or lukewarm greasy nuggets.
