We have been coming to this Farrelli's location since 2017. We've always had a 4-5 star experience. However, the last two months this place has been having a lot of troubles. We visited once in May and everything was great. Then we came on a week night in June and it was terrible. The dining room had no AC working, which had never been an issue in the past. For whatever reason they were running the completely full dining room with only 2 servers. One of the servers has worked there a long time and is always amazing. The poor server could not keep their head above water. Over 45 minutes went by before they could even come check on us. We were out of everything and burning in the heat. Repeatedly they sat our server who had to greet new tables and completely ignore ours. Finally had to stand up in the middle of the dining room and wave someone down so we could cash out. Our food was good despite all of this, but it was horrible dine in service. It was really surprising and I figured the whole experience was a fluke. We had never had an experience like that before.
So about a month later we decided to give it another try. Well again here in the middle of summer the dining room has no AC. It was almost 90 out that day and it was miserable inside. Apparently the bar has working AC, but the dining room side is broken. Not sure if they are planning to repair it, but that's a big issue in a restaurant with a hot kitchen. Can't imagine what the cooks are going through. Then again, on a Saturday evening, they are running the entire dining room with only 2 servers. Our server was great doing their best to keep up. We placed our orders strategically knowing we may not get checked on again for a long time, but it was frustrating. This time our pizzas came out, one burnt and the other completely fine. It was too busy to send it back, but the food suffered on this occasion. Seems like it's going from a restaurant to a cafeteria. The service feels that way too.
I have spent so much money at this restaurant over the years. The food is not cheap and is usually really good and worth the money. Always tip my servers well. We will not be back for awhile. Honestly hope they can get it together with the AC and lack of servers. Once the food starts going down that's never a good sign. We have always loved Farrelli's so would be nice to...
Read moreUPDATE My wife and I went back tonight, she loves a certain appetizer. We just happened to have the same server from the last International Pizza Day last November. Wow, his narcissism flared up immediately! I filed a complaint then too. He was just as surprised to see us as we were him. How he is still working there blows my mind. He didn't waste any time asking why we came back. We were silent. He continued to talk about how we lied in our last review, then asked why I left a tip. Also, we are not complainers. We spent many years in the service industry and are very good tippers because that pays the rent. We also, usually, don't post a review unless the service or food is amazing, or in this kind of situation. I told him. "Out of pity." He responds, "I...WE don't need your pity." He was desperate for words at this point. He didn't even attempt to apologize for any of the interactions or the poor service from our previous experience. His ego is soooooo huge that he held a grudge all this time just waiting for this moment that blew up in his face. Apparently, he gets his strength from verbally tearing people, primarily woman, in half. Unfortunately for him, my wife is smarter than he is. All of this could have been avoided if hadn't chosen to pick a fight with my wife who did not provoke his unwarranted hostility. I saved my last review knowing that someone goes through and deletes anything that would leave a blemish on their name.
A manager reached out to me the last time and asked for my address to send me coupons for free pizza. I told her to just email me the coupons...I never heard from her again. Curious, right? I'm surprised that the company would keep someone around who blatantly, loudly, disrespects their customers.
I will be going over the GM and reporting these situations to...
Read moreWe moved to the area back in Oct of 2021. This place was recommended by friends. When we first started eating here, we loved it so much that when family and friends came to visit, we always took them out to eat here. It became a tradition. But back in Nov of 22, my parents were visiting for Thanksgiving, so we decided to do a phone order because they didn't want to go out. I placed a phone order, and I was assured of my request that the order would be what I wanted. When I got there, it was not done completely right. So I requested what was missing, only to hear a kitchen employees rude remarks to my request from in the kitchen even though I agreed to pay the extra for what I requested. I finally gave up and left. Last week, we tried eating there again with friends, but the service and food were terrible to the point. I we will not be eating at that location again. We have tried several of the locations, but we liked this one so much that it became our favorite. We chose this one because the service, staff, and food were the best. When we ate there last week, the food was awful, as was our server. Took forever to get our appetizers, which was not good, and when I requested my favorite sauce when placing my order, I still had to ask again because it did not come with the appetizers. As well our server never came back to see if we needed anything or refills after our pizza arrived,by the way was delivered to our table by someone else which, by the way, was so awful we didn't even eat half of the two pizzas we had ordered and refused to take the rest home. It's was ridiculous that we paid over $100.00 and left still hungry because the food was so bad. Would not recommend this location. The only thing I can guess is it's different service staff and they changed kitchen...
