Taco Bell — Restaurant in Durango

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND GOING TO THIS TACO BELL!!! Too many bad reviews and homeless people hangout around the area and its ran by immature teenagers.

Have had a couple horrible experiences at this taco bell.

This one instance I came thru the drive thru and a young girl was on the speaker, I don’t mean to be rude but she must have had a lisp, or some sort of speech impediment because I couldn’t properly hear her, I asked for two beef tacos and a chalupa with a baja blast. Immediately she says “We dont have beef” with a muffled noise on the headset. I say, “I’m sorry I couldn’t understand you” and she goes “We. Don’t. Have. Beef” so then I understand her and I said, “It’s 3:30pm:0” and she said “Yeah Sorry, you wanna get something else?” So I say “Sure, I’ll take a baja blast” and she interrupts me and says, “We don’t have ithe” and I’m confused and know she said ice but I wanted to make sure so I said “You don’t have ice?” and she says “WE DONT HAVE BEEF OR ITHE!!” And I’m just thinking, “How do you not have beef or ice at 3:30 with no rush hour” I’ve worked fast food before and have had experiences with horrible customers so I tried my best to be nice and polite with her but her attitude wasn’t good customer service and why have someone with a lisp/speech impediment work on headset. So I just drove away, because I didn't want to yell are argue with this girl.

Another instance, it was late and there were a bunch of homeless men gathered by the drive thru trying to knock on my window and I got scared and tried to drive away but I had to wait for the person up front to get their food which took 40 minutes, so I ended up backing out of the drive thru but ended up getting stuck with another person at the menu. So I just ignore the people trying to knock on my window, hoping they’d leave me alone.

All in all, the customer service is rude and it looks to be ran by immature teenagers. I’m 18 and worked fast food and haven’t treated people like this before because my bosses have taken strict policies for...

I LOVE Taco Bell but this is definately the worst TB I've been in (assuming you can get inside) and their food is nasty. I believe that they never change their fryihng oil, the fillings in their signature dishes lack filling and their service is awful. I've only eaten here a half dozen times in two or so years but I can't help but to wonder if they're part of some huge social experiment to see if customers actually keep coming back. While waiting in line at other establishments I've found that other Durango residents refer to this TB Store as "the worst Taco Bell in the world" and nobody seems to be curious enough to find out if the store is a franchise or corporately owned. It would be awful if this Taco Bell went the say of our KFC or DQ but at the current prices, I can't imagine they don't have the funds to make staff and store improvements but it would be really nice if one of my semi-annual visits actually blew me away in a good way. Somebody at Yum! Breands followed up on their more issolated stores to ensure they produce a quality product similar to when Pepsi owned them 25+ years ago. I'd love to eat some good Taco Bell but I don't necessarily see that happening...

Not once have I been here an got my order made right the first time.. yesterday for my lunch break I went over then decided to sit in for once, rude customer service to start off, the lady behind the counter didn’t know how to take my order let alone make the order... she calls another lady over an she doesn’t know how to make a 5 layer burrito either.. they proceeded to look the ingredients up on their computer and threw all the ingredients in the center of a tortilla. I watched them make both of them an then said this isn’t a 5 layer.. my nephew can do better then that is was the sloppiest mess you couldn’t even eat them. I eat there at least 3 days a week cause it’s so close to my job. So I asked for someone who knew how to make it.. went back today an tried the drive thru hoolpikg for a new crew.... should have unwrapped it all before I left cause now one burrito was right..... is it that hard to follow the order???? They pay more then where I work at Autozone you would think they could keep decent employees.... guess I’ll try Burger King for now on. Sad because I’m a huge fan of Taco Bell.. not in...
