Subway — Restaurant in Durant

My experience with this Subway started ok. The lady helping wasn’t friendly but I don’t really hold that against her. I ordered 3 footlong subs. The total was $30+. I attempted to pay with $100. They advised me they can’t take it. I had no other pay option. I asked her if they were going to just throw it away and she said yes. I had my child with me and that seemed crazy to me. I left to avoid making a scene and called back from the car. They hung up on me. The manager called me back the following Monday and instead of making things better she made them significantly worse. She failed to apologize even once. She accused me yelling and being rude ( I was on a Dr’s office waiting room during the call). She also hung up on me. Have eaten here several times in the past, the quality of the food itself is very good; however, the service has not been. Every time I have gone they try to formulate ways to make my sandwich cost more. I always bring a coupon for a $6.99 footlong sandwich, and the last time I went I was forced to pay $12.24 for a very simple sandwich. I always order a BMT with turkey instead of ham. Mind you these ingredients SHOULD cost the same, but they pretty much always add turkey to my ticket for $2 extra. This is fine; however, last time I went they rung my sandwich up as a turkey sandwich and added salami for 2$ AND pepperoni for $2 which is insane and is a scheming attempt at just getting more money from people. Different locations DO make a difference! We have 2 local Subways. This Subway on 1st Street made my bowl a little bit different than the Subway on Main had been making it. They actually heated the steak & cheese that's on top and it was SO much better! I also prefer when the ingredients are layered, not put into sections around the bowl. It makes it much easier to get everything in a bite, if it's layered. Way to go Subway! I will recommend this one! I'll try to remember to take a pic next time.
